Thay came from a difficult hoarding situation, but he’s made incredible progress and has adapted beautifully to family life. He gets along great with our pets and is a total love bug once he feels comfortable. While he can be cautious around new people and unfamiliar animals, his gentle and affectionate personality really shines through. He’s fully potty trained and crate trained, and one of his cutest traits is his happy little hops when he gets excited. He would do best in a home with older children or no kids, where he can continue to build confidence and soak up all the love he deserves. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Comet was being Euthanized by his owners, he was with one family 8 years. When they moved from a house to an apartment he became anxious and not when trying to get him from under the bed. Comet has been in my house ever since while I try to find him a new home. He's been through behavioral training and would do best in a home with not other pets, he is a very young 8 year old and having a nice walk everyday keeps him healthy and happy. He enjoys chasing squirrels and acting like a dog. He's actually a great protector and would do great with an active owner . He is neutered,microchipped, UTD on shots and on HW and flea prevention. Her DNA shows she’s a mix of Poodle, Boston Terrier, and King Charles Spaniel, with a little of other breeds sprinkled in. She’s the perfect size for playing, cuddling, and everyday adventures. Billie is great with older children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and absolutely loves to play. She enjoys going for walks and has a happy, playful personality that makes her a joy to be around. She’s about 50% house trained and does much better when she has access to a contained yard, where she can go out more frequently and continue learning her routine. Billie’s previous family had her since birth but, unfortunately, could no longer keep her. She’s lost the only home she’s ever known and is now hoping someone special will step in and give her the love, stability, and security she deserves. Regarding heartworm status: Billie tested positive initially, but that result may have been a false positive. She was retested at a different veterinary clinic, with proper timing, and that test came back negative. She is a very active little girl who absolutely loves toys and thrives when she has other dogs to play with. Because of this, Tofu is looking for a home with another playful dog who can match her energy and keep her engaged. She is crate trained, rides great in the car, and is decent on a leash. Tofu is still working on potty training and currently uses puppy pads, so her future home should be patient and consistent as she continues learning. They are still learning about the world outside of a kennel setting and will need a patient, understanding home that is willing to give them time to adjust and build confidence at their own pace. They do best with routine, gentle guidance, and positive reinforcement. While initially shy or unsure in new situations, their personality continues to shine more each day. Many breeder-release dogs thrive in homes with another friendly, confident dog to help show them the ropes. He is crate trained, does well with other dogs, but is not comfident with leash skills. They are not a “plug-and-play” dog and will need time to decompress, but with consistency and love, they become incredibly loyal and affectionate companions. Adopters should understand that adjustment can take several weeks or longer, and moments of insecurity or hesitation are normal during this transition.
