Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA state & Oregon but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal. Muffin has seen & witnessed so much evil in her life. She was pulled out of a slaughterhouse with one of our other rescues Basil. Soul destroying to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything she has seen, heard & her previous life. We cannot even begin to imagine what Muffin witnessed & heard when she was at the slaughterhouse. How Muffin ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated and absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Muffin and many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in and getting Muffin out, her fate was a torturous death. We believe every sweet soul such as Muffin and her friends deserves to be loved and cherished and given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Muffin is looking for a special family to cherish her and be patient with her and remember what this beautiful soul has been through and a family that meets all her needs. Muffin was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends and just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in and day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Muffin was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Muffin had no idea what was going on at first but my oh my did she pick up things so quickly. She now sits there and stares at her foster mum with so much love. She knows her world is so very different. Her foster mum said she is such a beautiful soul & gets so excited at times, ie when it’s time to get up, dinner time, going for adventures. She radiates gratitude. She just wants you to love her & she will love you back. She adores being hugged and held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love and affection apart from a day or 2 at her foster home in China. She is a really smart girl too because on the day of arrival in her foster home she taught herself to run up hardwood stairs and follow her foster mum. When she finds people who love her they become his world. She is such a soft gentle schnauzer her foster mum said with a very sweet personality. She loves to run and play with her foster siblings & must go to a home with another dog who will play with her. She loves a good outfit & will get ready for you to put one on her. Muffin eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. She also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks. All of her treats are homemade. Muffin has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. She would need continued work walking on her harness & leash. Muffin is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Muffin adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming her, baths, the hairdryer she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Muffin & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. So far she has not started showing interest in toys in her foster home. Muffin has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an amazing, loving little lady. With Muffin we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Muffin where someone is home during the day or Muffin can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Muffin is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. Muffin has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings & will want to sleep in bed with you & she does in her current loving foster home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Muffin’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Muffin is now roughly 14.33 lbs & 5 years old. She is spayed & a schnoodle & what she is mixed with we are not sure? She had a dental while in China, she is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed. She has 2 luxated patella’s grade 2-3 that doesn’t seem to affect her at all. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. We have spent over $2000 on Muffin with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare paying for her medical care, including, shots, spay microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Muffin has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Anna with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Muffin was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues. Muffin’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Muffin potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Muffin & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Muffin who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Muffin has an adoption fee of $885 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.

🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home Hello, my name is Sio! 🐶🤎 I’m a 3-year-old male Poodle mix, and I was rescued from a breeding facility. Now, I’m ready to find the family who will love me and stay by my side for the rest of my life. I’m a happy, energetic, and playful boy who loves having fun! I enjoy running around and playing inside the house, and I’m just as excited when I get to go outside and stretch my legs. But don’t let my playful side fool you—I also know how to relax. As long as someone I love is nearby, I’m perfectly happy to curl up and rest while enjoying some quiet time together. 🥰 And if you have treats, you might become my new best friend! 😂 I absolutely LOVE treats, and I especially enjoy chewing on bones. Squeaky toys are another one of my favourites, so I’d love a family who will play with me and keep me entertained! You also don’t need to worry too much about leaving me home alone. I don’t show signs of separation anxiety, and I don’t have destructive habits like chewing up furniture or making a mess while I’m alone. I’m actually a pretty good boy when my family needs to step out. 🤎 One of my biggest strengths is that I really, really love people. I’m a very friendly and affectionate boy, and I love being close to the people I care about. Even when I’m resting, I prefer to be beside someone or somewhere nearby where I can see them. So if I become part of your family, you should probably be prepared to have a little furry shadow following you around the house! 🐾 I also get along very well with other dogs! I love playing with my canine friends, and I’m currently living happily with another dog in my foster home. I enjoy meeting new doggy friends and can have a wonderful time playing and socializing with them. There are still a few things I’m learning, though! I’m still working on my leash manners. When I go outside, I get so excited that I sometimes pull forward and want to hurry along. My foster family is helping me practise walking nicely on a leash, and I’m slowly learning that walks are more fun when we take our time together. 🐕💨 My potty training is also almost there! Most of the time, I do very well, but when I get extremely excited or worked up, I may occasionally have an accident. I’m still practising, and with a little patience and consistency from my forever family, I’m sure I can become even better. 😊 There is one important thing I’d like my future family to know about me. Sometimes, I get a little startled if a hand suddenly reaches toward me from somewhere I cannot see. I’m not aggressive at all, but unexpected touches can scare me. If you approach me slowly and make sure I can see you before touching me, I feel much safer and more comfortable. Once I know what’s happening, I’m happy to be close to you. 🤎 I think I could be happy in many different kinds of homes. Whether you’re a family with several people or a single person looking for a loving companion, I can be a wonderful match. What matters most to me is having someone who will include me in their life and let me stay close. I’m also the kind of boy who can become very attached to my favourite person. Sometimes, I meet someone and immediately decide, “Yep, you’re my person!” 🥹🤎 Once I love someone, I love them deeply. So if you welcome me into your family, I may become your little shadow, following you around and happily staying right by your side. I’m looking for someone who will play with me, help me practise my walks, be patient while I learn, and give me plenty of love and companionship. I’ve already been through a lot in my life.
