Noeul/Frankie is looking for his second chance in finding his forever family.✨
He is in Seattle and is looking for a foster by 8/15 or his forever family!🌷🌼❤️
Posting from 7/27/2026:
Noeul/Frankie is a very sweet boy who is looking for a second chance to find his forever family. Noeul had spent a wonderful 6 months with his dedicated foster where he was the perfect dog, who showed no signs of aggression or behavioral issues. From rescue to foster he has had no issues.
🌷From Noeul's foster: "Even though it was for just six months, I truly believed I had met the best dog in the world. Sending such a wonderful baby up for adoption made me incredibly sad, yet so happy at the same time. Before coming to me, this poor baby had already cheated death, been abandoned. When Noeul finally came to me, he was just the most lovely, precious angel."🌷
After a couple of months settling in to his adoptive home, Frankie and his new doggy brother stopped getting along. His family believed it started over dropped food outside. After consulting with a trainer, they said that there could have been other signs and interactions that were building up that might have been missed. Frankie has never fought over food with his fosters 14 year old poodle, or other dogs he had spent time with. Frankie has always been polite. He even waited for his fosters dog to finish eating first before he took his turn. So, this sudden behavior was very shocking to us. One of the main reasons his family chose him was because they saw his gentle nature with other dogs.
Both Frankie and his doggy brother have been equally aggressive toward each other and they seem to just not get along. So much so that they have to be separated in the home. After his family got help from a local trainer, some behaviors between the two dogs improved, but some didn't. If living together peacefully cannot be achieved by mid- August, Frankies family has made the very sad and hard decision to return him back to us. This way, we can assess his triggers and bring him back to the place he was before the incident that started it. So, we can find a family that is a better fit for him.
🌸From his adoptive family: "Frankie is a wonderful dog! We have had the great experience of getting to know him over the past four months. He is full of love for his family and greatly enjoys being picked up. Greeting each day with enthusiasm, he is especially excited about his daily walks. He rides well in a car and sleeps through the night. He will curl up next you when he tires and keeps a watchful eye on you as you go about your day. Frankie will add great joy to your life--he has to ours. We love him very much, but unfortunately, we have not been able to resolve an issue he and our other dog have with each other. We want him to find a home with a family where he can truly relax and be himself."🌸
July 31st, 2026 posting, after assessment from us:
🌼"After spending time with him and observing his behaviors with us, our dogs, and other dogs; we believe that Frankie is ready to find his forever family. Frankie needs a quiet environment where he is the only dog, so he can decompress at his own pace to feel fully settled. With some training and after he's feeling fully comfortable, a non-dominant doggy sibling could be possible, but for now, he needs to be the only child.
Frankie needs a foster by August 15th, so he can have that second chance at finding a forever family that is the right fit for him. He is ready for adoption if his needs are met. We are looking for a foster because the timeline might be too soon to find his forever family.
When I first met Frankie(Noeul), back in April, we spent the whole day together along with his foster mom, another rescue dog (Mocha, now Nippet) and our dogs. He was so calm and gentle-natured. He greeted me with a sweet look while he sat quietly next to Nippet on foster moms lap. On Wednesday, when I met him again, he did not greet me like the same dog as he did back then. He was on edge, irritated, and upset. His adoptive mom said he is unable to ever fully relax due to the situation with their other dog. However, after some time together, he warmed up and we had a lot of fun. When we dropped him off back with his momma, he was rubbing against me like a kitty and kissing my chin. So, Im feeling so positive and hopeful now. With a peaceful environment and some training, he will be a happy and content dog once again.
I do want to say it was very clear that Frankie loves his adoptive mom very much, and she loves him. Moving him to another family will be incredibly hard on him again. This time, it has to be forever."🌼

Noeul/Frankie's original profile from December 2025
Noeul lived as a stray by a cafe in Busan. He was malnourished, but survived eating food given to him by shop owners and customers. Then someone reported him as a feral dog, and he was placed on the euthanasia list at the shelter.
Just before euthanasia, someone stepped forward and adopted Noeul. However, only one day later, he was returned. He was then rescued and moved to a foster home in Busan. After staying there for a couple of months, he was moved to another foster home in Incheon.
Noeul is now fully settled, and has been lovingly cared for by his foster family in Icheon, Korea. He enjoys playing, loves going on walks, and has grown into a confident and happy dog. He is ready to come to the Seattle area to meet his forever family!
Name: Noeul
Estimated Age: 3 years
Breed: West Highland & Terrier Mix
Gender: Male
Weight: 14.3 lbs
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Energy Level: 3-4 out of 10
Good with dogs? When meeting dogs during walks, Noeul wants to approach first. He usually only sniffs and does not bark. At home, once he finishes sniffing another dog, he gets along well with them.
Good with cats? He ignores cats.
Good with kids? Gets along well with gentle children, but may bark at them during walks if they are noisy.
Sociability: Gets along well with everyone. As long as there are no sudden loud noises/ big movements, he has no issues. When he meets familiar people outside, he rubs against them and asks for pets. He bonds well with his current foster family. Noeul is very considerate. When the senior dog at his foster’s home eats/drinks, he waits patiently behind and only approaches after the other dog is finished, showing great manners and patience.
100% outdoor potty trained. His previous foster mentioned marking, but in his current foster home, Noeul does not mark at all.
Good on leash? He goes on walks 3-5X a day, each lasting about 10 to 40 minutes. Typical times are around 8 a.m., 12 p.m., 4 p.m., and 9 p.m., though not always exact. He may pull slightly, but when his name is called, he responds well. He enjoys sniffing during walks, so leash manners are considered easy.
Barker? At home, he only barks when a new and unfamiliar person enters. Outside, he may bark at running children, but he stops immediately when his attention is redirected.
Separation anxiety? None.
Mouthiness/nipping? He gently mouths toys while playing and is not aggressive. He takes treats carefully and chews slowly.
He experiences motion sickness. On poorly paved roads, he may vomit, but he does fine on well paved roads.
Health Notes: No known health issues.
If given time and patience, Noeul warms up in less than a week and begins to show affection and approach on his own. In under two weeks, he may climb onto the bed, but he does not sleep there. He usually sleeps under the bed and comes up to give kisses when the alarm goes off in the morning.
He is shy at first and can be scared of strangers, but he loves pets and is very affectionate once comfortable.
Favorite things: Small plushie toys, treats, walks, being held and snuggles, and visiting cozy restaurants and cafés!
Noeul eats one meal per day. A consistent feeding routine is recommended.
