PLEASE READ: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, please apply online at www.catdogfriendrescue.com. Please do NOT call or send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large influx of inquiries and phone calls. You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds.  Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you!  Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter and microchip insertion.  Please note these are not pedigree animals and we have no way of attesting if any of them are hypoallergenic and as such cannot adopt to homes with allergies. ##2656146##

Story
Sergeant is a high-energy boy who needs a feline playmate to match his enthusiasm. He loves fast-paced play and happily chases toys all around the room. When he’s not on the move, you’ll often find him gazing out the window, keeping an eye on the world outside.   He may take a little time to warm up, but with patience and consistent care, Sergeant’s trust blossoms into something truly rewarding—eventually leading to cozy lap naps. Sergeant would thrive in a home with another playful cat and people who enjoy active play and earning a cat’s affection.   Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip         If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. The adoption policies and applications can be found at the following links: https://fancycats.org/adopt-a-cat and https://fancycats.org/adopt-a-dog. Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. Story
Daisy is a loving, friendly, Scottish fold. She was born November 2024. She is bonded with her sister, Pepper and must be adopted together. They are both super sweet, love meeting new people, and will follow you around the house. They are social and love staying wherever the party is! She has Scottish Fold Osteochondrodysplasia. This makes it difficult for her to climb tall spaces. She also needs Omega 3 supplements and pain intervention at times.
