Hi,koo started as a foster cat that we adopted shortly after getting him. He was there to support a foster dog who went through a false pregnancy. I have had him for 8 years now, his birthday is in November at some point. I just always celebrated it on Thanksgiving so he could get some turkey as a birthday treat. He is 8-9 years old, loves attention. He is a cuddler and a talker, loves to play with toys that he has to chase. He likes to be on shoulders and backs, following you around and being in your business when yoir doing things around the house. He has a bit of an attitude when things don't go his way but that usually is only when it comes to his demand of treats. He isn't good when it comes to nail clipping and will fight, but as long as you scruff him and have a good hold that should be enough. I'm hoping for a home where he can feel loved and cared for, one that won't mind his quirky behavior, and knows to be patient with him. He is very much a teenager in attitude sometimes.

Story
Lucy is a sweet 5 year old indoor cat. I adopted her from the shelter in 2019 and instantly fell in love the moment she flipped on her back and started pawing the air. Her previous owners had her front paws declawed but that hasn’t stopped her from giving you soft biscuits! Lucy is a well behaved (litter box trained) quiet girl. She usually comes up to you to cuddle every evening and loves to hang out (when convenient for her). Lucy’s attention seems to prefer adults and ignore kids. She isn’t the biggest fan of baths everyone once in a while but she eventually gives in. Lucy loves 1. To chase string/rope. 2. Laser! Lucy has lived with a dog in the past and will simply ignore and might hiss if they won’t leave her alone! Lucy has no medical issues and never complains about traveling to the vet for her routine visits. She also has experience boarding at the vets when I had to be out of town. Lucy will fit right in to any loving home.

Shady is 2 yrs she will be waiting by the door when you come home, everytime. She loves playing and especially loves treats! She has a few quirks such as standing between the shower curtains to make sure her human doesn't drown, stretching up and putting her paws on her humans face when they bend down to pick her up, and giving literal hugs. Yes, she gives hugs. I swear Mama is the staring contest champ. She will stare at you for 5 minutes straight without blinking. She will win everytime. She likes making biscuits with her front, and back legs. She can be fearful when she's first introduced to strangers. She will come up and smell you, but then hiss and growl. Shady mostly goes by Mama, but will answer to Shady as well. Shady was found in a rundown house in NY with a litter of kittens. Her kittens are all grown and found their forever homes. Now Mama just needs hers! Mama has an adoption fee due to her being fearful. We want to make sure her next human is serious!

Thomas is very sweet and smart boy. He is quick to learn anything: tricks, treats, not to scratch furniture, playing 'track the wiggly thing under the blanket and guess where it pops out next'. Thomas is not afraid of anything, and his foster mom thinks he wants to be an engineer when he grows up. He wants to investigate close up the running vacuum cleaner, the saw blade (!), even the lawnmower out the window. He has beautiful long fine fur and loves to be brushed and scratched. He is such a hoot to watch when he slides on hard floors because of the tufts of fur between his toes. He is very sensitive to allergens such as dust. He needs a high quality diet and needs to be on meds to keep his sensitive skin at bay. He loves to sleep in the sun, greet people at the door, follow his human around, and he claims a spot on the bed right next to you. He is not clingy and is just happy in a busy home where he can watch and participate and play. Thomas loved his dog buddy in his previous foster home, and he is great with small children!
