Story
Zorro is an independent cat, he loves being around people, but doesn’t love to be picked up for long periods of time. He wis a great companion, can be indoor outdoor. He sleeps through the night, never agressive & can be left home for long periods of time if needed as long as he has food water and litter box ready. Very clean , potty trained and doesn’t require a lot of entertainment. Tolerates kids, never agressive but not a big fan

Story
Hi, my name is Chris and my sister Lucy (CH-Lucy) and I are looking for a very special person. You see, our human mom took us off the streets as feral cats when we were really young - as cats go, but probably as feral cats go, really too late to 'flip us', to be regular house cats. I have become more outgoing, as time has gone by, but, my human mom has always referred to Lucy as 'a ghost' I think you could actually say that I am the emotional support animal for Lucy (and she is mine) I could be a 24/7 lap cat. I love getting my belly rubbed and being brushed. When I came to SCC, I was pretty matted on my belly, but my foster person and I worked on getting all of those nasty felted mats off of my belly. That feels so nice now. We are ramping down on 12 years old now. SCC got us a senior blood panel and in the scheme of things, we are doing alright. Let me tell you about me. I am quite a bit bigger than my sister, and a very fluffy boy. I am a lot more outgoing than my sister, but still timid. As you can see from our pics, we are very bonded and are often perched together by the window, watching the world go by. We also like to play with catnip mice inside crinkly, kitty tunnels. And I really like treats! The cats in the foster home we are in come to visit us. I like to give them head-butts and am never aggressive with the visitors. Lucy stays back in the shadows and is not so welcoming. We would be best in a quiet home environment, like with retirees that live a quiet life, and are home more. If friends or family do come to visit, they might not see us, but you should know that we will be waiting for your company to leave so that we can come out. As you might assume, kids are a bit noisy for us, and even though we had a dog in our lives before, we can do without that. We are current on our vaccines and microchipped and are very good with our litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 15, 2025, 2:14 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Koa and somebody told me that you were looking for a special cat that is all fluff and personality. You found me! I am a sweet cuddlebug that loves everybody (ok, maybe not the dogs). I do like the two legged folks and have been around other cats and did well with them. I love to play. I am a skilled hunter of my toy mice and I like the stick toys that I can play with my humans - it is as if I can fly!! Laser toys are really fun too, but honestly, I have never figured out how to outsmart that red dot. I am about 3 years old, have lived an indoor only life and that suits me just fine. I will be brought current on my RCP and microchipped as a part of the adoption process. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 21, 2026, 7:53 pm

Story
Yeah, I know, 'Buster' is a silly name for a girl kitty, but when you are young and fluffy, mistakes get made - that's ok, what's in a name! My human mom is moving and can't take me with her, so, she is working with SCC to find me a forever home. So, let me tell you about myself. I am about 2 years old. I have had a bit of a bumpy start in life, just looking for the purr-fect home so that I can have a stress free life. I am definitely a Iap cat! If I land on your lap, you better have a book or the remote, cuz I am there for as long as you will stay put. I live an indoor only life - but when I was in my first home, there were some other cats in the home and they were not nice to me, so I came to live in my current home. Life is better. There are cats outside and let's just say, we have words pretty often. I would probably do better with older kids - I tend to get over stimulated and it is important to be able to read my 'cat signs'. I don't have any dog experience, but if you have a nice dog, I might adjust to having a 4 legged friend. Slow introductions are always best. I was recently diagnosed with bladder stones and had surgery to correct that. So, I am on a prescription diet, Hills Urinary Care c/d Stress. I am current on my vaccines and will be microchipped as a part of the adoption process. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.January 27, 2026, 3:58 pm
