Story
Hello, my kitty Pepperoni I get from an experienced breeder’s home in Vancouver at 10 weeks old. He is 2 years old. He is so sweet and loves people, kids, and other animals. I, unfortunately, have to work more hours and will be maybe moving out of the country soon too so I do not have the time for him. He knows how to sit on command. The cost for him includes all his toys, food, dishes, cat trees. He is very good pet I know he will be better for someone who he can bond with. I also travel with him to AZ by plane.

Story
Hi, my name is Chris and my sister Lucy (CH-Lucy) and I are looking for a very special person. You see, our human mom took us off the streets as feral cats when we were really young - as cats go, but probably as feral cats go, really too late to 'flip us', to be regular house cats. I have become more outgoing, as time has gone by, but, my human mom has always referred to Lucy as 'a ghost' I think you could actually say that I am the emotional support animal for Lucy (and she is mine) I could be a 24/7 lap cat. I love getting my belly rubbed and being brushed. When I came to SCC, I was pretty matted on my belly, but my foster person and I worked on getting all of those nasty felted mats off of my belly. That feels so nice now. We are ramping down on 12 years old now. SCC got us a senior blood panel and in the scheme of things, we are doing alright. Let me tell you about me. I am quite a bit bigger than my sister, and a very fluffy boy. I am a lot more outgoing than my sister, but still timid. As you can see from our pics, we are very bonded and are often perched together by the window, watching the world go by. We also like to play with catnip mice inside crinkly, kitty tunnels. And I really like treats! The cats in the foster home we are in come to visit us. I like to give them head-butts and am never aggressive with the visitors. Lucy stays back in the shadows and is not so welcoming. We would be best in a quiet home environment, like with retirees that live a quiet life, and are home more. If friends or family do come to visit, they might not see us, but you should know that we will be waiting for your company to leave so that we can come out. As you might assume, kids are a bit noisy for us, and even though we had a dog in our lives before, we can do without that. We are current on our vaccines and microchipped and are very good with our litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.March 7, 2026, 3:28 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Flower. My human parents moved away and thought it would be too much for me to make the move so, now, I am staying with my human grandma and she is going to help me find a new home. In the right environment, I would really do great, but I am living with another cat and he is not nice to me. So, let me tell you about myself. I am about 3 years old. I was trapped in a barn with my mom. Patience will win you great rewards from me, because I will be timid at first, until I get comfortable, and once I build the trust, I am all in. I am a bit treat driven and am a very playful girl. I would be best in a quieter home environment. Toddlers and younger kids can be a bit overwhelming for me. I would do ok with kids over 12, after I am comfortable. I have lived with a dog and a cat (other than my current tormenter) and I actually did ok with them. Of course, slow introductions are always best. I have lived an indoor life and that is fine by me. I am current on my vaccines and microchipped and I am very good with my litter box.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.August 15, 2026, 10:11 pm

Story
Hi my name is Ambrose. Life on the streets was tough for me but this kind woman fed me and has taken me in. She is working with SCC to find me a home that I can call my own. So, I do have very limited history but, I was tested for FELV and FIV, and apparently, got FIV from life on the streets. It is not a death sentence, like FELV, and I can live with other cats - in my next appointment, in a couple of weeks, I am getting neutered (whatever that is). As for my personality, I am a pretty sweet guy. I do live with a couple of other cats right now, but one is kind of a jerk. I might be good with another cat, but slow introductions are always best. Older kids might be better for me. The younger ones are a bit noisy and I do tend to get over stimulated when I play. Older kids would be better at recognizing my cat signs. I don't have any dog experience, so we can skip that. I will be current on vaccines and microchipped as a part of the adoption process. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.August 15, 2026, 10:11 pm
