Story
Quan is a perfect potato- shaped lady with a lovely, calm, and sweet personality. If you’re looking for a mellow friend who will appreciate quiet days at home and curling up on the couch with you, look no further! Here’s what her volunteer friends have said about her:“Quan was a very good walking partner today- she is a nice brisk walker. She is very affectionate and sweet, sits for treats and takes them gently, leans in for pettings. Very nice and well-behaved girl.” “Quan is a sweet girl. Nice loose leash walking from the beginning and took no notice of other passing dogs. We enjoyed a stroll around the park. She sat for me and took treats gently. Such a nice gal!”She has spent time in foster care and her fosters state: She is good with Large and Small dogs! She is very mellow and easy! SHe is house trained and loves her doggy bed. Her foster describes her as `KISSABLE, LOVING, CUDDLY, COUCH POTATO`•Do you have any funny stories or other information you would like to share about your foster? SHE WILL PUT HER PAW UP TO GET YOU TO COME OVER TO HER OR PET HER, LIKE SHE IS WAVING TO YOU, IT`S VERY CUTE, SHE LOVES BELLY RUBS AND ALWAYS WANTS THEM, SHE ALSO LOVES TO GIVE KISSESQuan has some allergies that come and go, so needs a family committed to keeping her healthy and comfortable long term. She shares her kennel with another easygoing PACC pup and is ready to head home with you today! Ask to meet Quan!!

EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINECLOSE OF BUSINESS THURSDAY 02/26/26AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR FOSTER THROUGH PACC Name: ZoddAnimal ID: A888138Age: 7 yearsWeight: 40 lbs. Web Link: 24petconnect.com/PimaAdoptablePets/Details/PIMA/A888138About: Zodd is a 7-year-old Sharpei mix with an irresistibly wrinkled face and a heart that is currently feeling the heavy weight of shelter life. Since arriving as a stray in December 2025, Zodd has shown us what a sweet, friendly companion he can be, but the loud and stressful environment is starting to take a toll on him. When Zodd first arrived, he was an easy-going what we categorize as a `blue dot` walker who passed other dogs without a second thought. Recently, however, we have noticed a significant `shelter decline.` The constant stress has caused his behavior to shift; he has moved to `orange dot` status, exhibiting leash biting and the potential to redirect his frustration onto handlers when walking past other kennels.Zodd is currently being treated for hypothyroidism, which has left him with dry, itchy skin all over his body. A quiet home will help him heal both physically and mentally.Due to a recent altercation incident in playgroup where Zodd became over-stimulated and difficult to redirect, he is now on an Emergency Placement Deadline.Zodd is looking for a low-key, `zen` environment where he can decompress for at least 30 days. He is ideally looking for a home where he can be the only pet. However, If you have another dog and are interested in Zodd:A formal dog introduction at PACC is required. You must be committed to a strict `slow-introduction` protocol at home, never leaving the dogs unattended. You must have the space (crates, spare rooms) to safely rotate the dogs and maintain separate daily routines to keep the peace.Zodd is not a candidate for dog parks or off-leash areas.Despite his recent struggles, Zodd remains a friendly boy who is simply overwhelmed by his surroundings. PACC believes there is a perfect, quiet place out there for him to rest his wrinkled head. If you are a savvy dog owner who can provide the structure and decompression Zodd needs, please come to PACC and ask to meet him today.Available for long term foster care (30+ days) or adoption through PACC.Interested parties:Must visit PACC before the COB Thursday February 26, 2026 deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduc

Story
Amelia is our resident squishy squishmallow and she’s ready to squeeze her way into your heart!! Amelia came to the shelter as a stray and was quickly adopted; however, she was immediately introduced to the resident cats (dog/cat intros should always be slow and controlled), and she said “no thank you!” So, Amelia is back on the hunt for a kitty free home! Amelia also spent about a month in a foster home- here’s what we learned:- She’s a quiet houseguest overall- She is well- behaved when left alone (but don’t leave food out if you want it for later!)- She his housebroken and did well in a crate - She LOVES getting pets- Her favorite toys are the squeaky kind - She quickly learned ‘sit’ and ‘lay down’Amelia is a day trip superstar too- she spent a day away from the shelter getting a bath, meeting new people, and getting all the belly rubs she could. She did well in the car, seemed to be housebroken, and was a mellow couch potato overall. “Amelia loves people and just wants to please them. She loves a good belly rub! She gets the zoomies and enjoys a good game of chase. She also slept in a crate and had no accidents.”Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Amelia was very excited to get out of her kennel and enjoyed getting petted. Very good girl!”Amelia shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, tolerant, playful, and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Amelia today!

Story
Mia, formerly known as Blueberry, is a big sweetheart, that wants all your love. Feeling down? Mia quickly picks up on it, and give paw taps to get your attention so she can give you love, do something silly and boost your mood. Mia is very food motivated and extremely smart, if you have a treat she wants she is eager to learn a new trick. Mia loves being part of a pack and having other doggy friends to play with, but does not enjoy being left alone without either her doggy friends or beloved human, she`s just a social butterfly. Mia is still learning what it means to be a dog, that car rides arent bad, and is currently living her life to the fullest, playing, being silly, enjoying sleeping at her fosters feet, cuddling and soaking up all the love.

Story
Ruff Ryders is a legendary hip-hop collective and record label founded in the Bronx, famous for artists like DMX, Eve, Swizz Beatz, and The Lox. Ruff Rider is a legendary senior pooch establishing himself as one of PACC’s most popular pups! Here’s what one volunteer had to say:“First time meeting Ruff Rider and he is one of the cutest, crustiest, wrinkliest, sweetest and most gentle old pups I have had the pleasure of walking. He was initially a little hesitant to come over but eventually did, no thanks to my boring biscuits. He walked slowly, needing a little encouragement at times. He immediately did his business. I hope with time he will open up or better yet, gets fostered or adopted before that even happens!”Ruff Rider spent a few weeks in a foster home- here’s what learned:- He did great with a resident small dog - He did well in an apartment - He is calm and well- behaved when left home alone - He is house trained but hey- who doesn’t have an accident from time to time?- He loves bones and chew toys- He’s great on leash - He is friendly, curious, and mellow- He is a quick learnerRuff Rider shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup, Ask to meet Ruff Rider today!!
