Mia is very food motivated and extremely smart, if you have a treat she wants she is eager to learn a new trick. Mia loves being part of a pack and having other doggy friends to play with, but does not enjoy being left alone without either her doggy friends or beloved human, she`s just a social butterfly. Mia is still learning what it means to be a dog, that car rides arent bad, and is currently living her life to the fullest, playing, being silly, enjoying sleeping at her fosters feet, cuddling and soaking up all the love.

Say Hello to Oso, our friendly little brown "bear!" He is a gorgeous chocolate brushcoat Shar Pei with the heart of a big, loveable goober. He adores other dogs and is happiest sharing his bed, toys, food and just about everything else with his canine buddies. If you are looking for privacy? Oso may not be your guy. This boy wants to be your shadow, whether you're in the bathroom, shower, bedroom and anywhere else you thought you might be alone! He will crate, but he is not a fan and will sing a song to his people in hopes of being released asap from his doggy jail. His foster mom is allowing him to roam loose when she leaves for work and he can be found napping in between checking the door to see if its finally time for her to come home. Because Oso is so people and dog-oriented, we think he woud do best in a home with another friendly dog to help prevent separation anxiety. He has been a bit unsure around men, though his foster mom says that may simply be because he's an excellent judge of character. Oso loves giving kisses and is incredibly treat motivated. Right now he knows exactly zero obedience commands, but with patience, consistency, and plenty of snacks, this smart boy will be sitting like a pro in no time. He has been neutered, entropion surgery, and vaccinated. He will be seen by our local vet for comprehensive labwork as well prior to adoption If you're looking for a loyal, silly, affectionate best friend who will love you will love with his whole heart, Oso is ready to be your little brown bear. How cute is this short stack shar pei? She came to find herself in the shelter when her owner was evicted from their home. She lived with a small female pug mix so we know she is great with other dogs. This girl has been a rockstar with the kennel staff. Her long car ride from NM to AZ was a breeze. She rides like a champ in the car. She is completely house trained. She will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and bloodwork prior to adoption. She is fostering in Phoenix AZMay 18, 2026, 8:00 pm
