Here’s what her volunteer friends have said about her:“Quan was a very good walking partner today- she is a nice brisk walker. She is very affectionate and sweet, sits for treats and takes them gently, leans in for pettings. Very nice and well-behaved girl.” “Quan is a sweet girl. Nice loose leash walking from the beginning and took no notice of other passing dogs. We enjoyed a stroll around the park. She sat for me and took treats gently. Such a nice gal!”She has spent time in foster care and her fosters state: She is good with Large and Small dogs! She is very mellow and easy! SHe is house trained and loves her doggy bed. Story
During the hot summer (and fall) months in Tucson, there’s nothing quite like a creamy scoop of ice cream to help you cool down from the extreme heat. We happen to be big fans of rocky road- chocolate ice cream with marshmallows and mixed nuts. Speaking of things that are brown, white and sweet all over, we’d love to introduce you to our very good boy named Rocky! Rocky’s former owner shared that he was affectionate, playful, crate trained, and always at your side. When he first came to the shelter he was quite nervous, but he has settled in and his amazing, sweet personality has come out. Rocky spent two months in a foster home where he did great with kids, cats and other dogs. He liked to sleep near his foster people at night, was well- behaved when left home alone (occupied with his own chew toys), and was house and crate trained. Rocky’s foster described him as a “goofy, floppy, silly, clumsy noodle boy” who is loving, gentle and cuddly with his trusted people. Rocky needs time to warm up to new people, particularly men, but with time will be your best friend. Here`s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Rocky is such a fun little boy! He`s a spunky, friendly, fun guy! He loves to run around and around the play yard with his kennelmate. He is also an all-star snuggler. I was sitting on a bench this morning and he came and got right up onto my lap and gave me lots of sweet puppy kisses. He absolutely loves treats and he takes them very gently with a soft mouth. At one point both he and his kennelmate got up onto the bench on either side of me, and we had group cuddle time!”Rocky has shared his kennel politely with several similar-sized pups and has been playful, social, and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’s just a youngin’ and still has typical exuberant puppy energy; he’d love to find a family who will provide training and plenty of opportunities for exercise and love!If you’re looking for a dog who promises to bring you daily laughs with his goofy puppy antics, come meet Rocky today!

Story
Chester is a sweetie pie! His 38lbs are entirely made of velvet and cuddles. He is doing wonderfully in his weekend visit out of shelter. I wasn’t sure I had it in me to manage puppy energy, but this guy is EASY! Here’s what I can share so far about him: ?? Housebroken! He does his business on command and immediately when taken outside! No accidents at all. He is able to go all night and at least 7 hours during the day (I didn`t try to go longer) without a potty break. ?? Doing exceptionally well with my kids (youngest is a high-energy 9-year-old). Seems to take everything in stride and has been LOVING their attention. ?? Not a barker. He does verbalize here and there, but very politely. We had a car engine revving nearby last night and our resident dog and neighbor dogs have been on and off very bark-y, but Chester was chill through all of it. ?? Does great in the car. No complaints from him, but does need some assistance in and out because he’s a little sore (he has some injuries on his tummy, too). ?? Very easy on a leash! Chester seems to regularly look to his person to take the lead. I’ve also taken him in our big backyard with and without leash and he is interested in exploring, but also keeps an eye on me and doesn’t go far.?? Not sure how he does with other animals as we don’t introduce our fosters to resident pets right away. However, when I picked him up at the PACC clinic he was appropriately interested in the other patients from a distance, yet polite. He did spot our senior 60lb resident dog through the window a few times at our home and had a similar response— interested, but didn’t approach and no overt signs of irritation or distress. Seems non-reactive. ?? Eating habits— about as low maintenance as could be. Eating great! Takes treats with SUCH a gentle mouth. No sign of resource guarding around people. As for meds, I just packed them in a little wet food and he gobbled them up with the rest of his food. Easy peasy. Zero fuss. ?? Most importantly, this guy has a lot of love to give. He loves snuggles. He will ask for them at times with a soft nuzzle and welcomes opportunities to be close. Loves to be a feet warmer or to bury his head in the crook of his person’s arm or leg. He’s really good at making people feel loved and appreciated. Give him a little rub between his eyebrows and he leans in for snuggles.

Like her name, Soda Pop is sweet, bubbly, bright! Here’s what some of her fans have said:“Soda Pop was just as bright and fizzy as her name suggests. She was such a joy to have in the yard and is definitely one to bring a smile to your face with her little antics. She is very smart and energetic. She knows how to sit and is eager to learn new things, especially if treats are involved. Once she’s comfortable she’s all about snuggles. She was sweet and affectionate with people but also loved romping around the yard with her kennelmate. This little pocket-size girl is ready for just about any adventure!”“Soda Pop is loving and cuddles and loves attention. Best dog ever!”“Soda Pop is a sweet dog who likes exploring and being around you. She takes corrections well, such as a soft `uh-uh`. She is very affectionate and loves being petted.”“Soda Pop is a gentle, affectionate cuddle bug. Best dog!”Soda Pop shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ready for adventure but equally happy to chill at home, Soda Pop is the kind of pup who can fit right into most homes and bring a whole lot of joy along the way. Ask to meet her today!!

Story
Meet Laguna! Get ready to dive in with Laguna! This sweet girl absolutely adores the water — whether it's splashing in a kiddie pool or chasing sprinklers, she's in her element! Her silliness truly shines when she's playing, guaranteeing endless giggles and happy moments. After all that fun, Laguna transforms into the ultimate snuggle buddy. With her wonderfully soft and gentle personality, she's always ready to curl up for some quality cuddle time. At just over 20 lbs, she's the perfect lap size. Born the end of May to her boxer mom, and we are unsure of who dad is. With her gorgeous eyes and soft fur, we suspect dad may have had some husky in him. Yet, Laguna and her littermates are on the smaller size of those two breeds.  Laguna has done wonderfully with her potty training. Her food motivation has already lead to mastering sit and kennel manners and she's got a great start on leash training. She is up-to-date on her vaccines , is microchipped , and spayed.  Laguna gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is friendly with people. ‍‍ Her reaction to cats is unknown. She is looking for a home that can provide the guidance and training she needs to grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult. Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours. Click HERE for the adoption application.   ##2460774##

Hey everyone, it’s me — Finn! Guess what? I’m finally ready for adoption! I’ve fought through a bunch of illnesses and came out on top (because I’m a tough little fighter ). Now I’m healthy, happy, and thriving! I’m about 90% kennel trained (sometimes I get so excited I forget and have a tiny accident ). I love hanging out with other dogs, I think kids are awesome, and cats? Eh, they don’t really bother me at all. I've had all my vaccines, I have a microchip and I've been neutered! So… who’s ready to be my forever family? Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.
