Story
Meet Simba – A Loyal Gentleman Ready for His Forever Home Simba has had quite the journey since arriving at the shelter. He’s experienced the comforts of home life through both adoption and foster care, but was sadly returned due to his strong prey drive—he’s not a good match for homes with cats, chickens, or other small animals. Despite these challenges, Simba has consistently shown that with the right structure and guidance, he truly thrives in a home environment. In foster care, Simba has proven himself to be an all-around wonderful companion. He’s housebroken, crate-trained, and walks beautifully on leash. He adores cuddles, loves sleeping in bed with his people, and takes treats with the gentlest manners. Volunteers describe him as a true gentleman—polite, affectionate, and calm on car rides. He enjoys squeaky toys, belly rubs, and even helps dry himself off after baths!Simba also does well with other dogs—especially females—and has been successfully integrated with males when introductions are handled thoughtfully. In playgroups, he’s polite with greetings, occasionally playful, and often content just hanging out near his people.Simba does have some manageable skin and ear issues that are improving with consistent care. The shelter setting, however, is not ideal for his continued recovery. What he truly needs is a calm, stable home where he can rest, heal, and feel safe.If you’ re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and well-mannered companion, Simba could be the perfect match. This loving boy has so much heart to give—he’s simply waiting for the right person to see the amazing dog he already is.?? Please consider opening your home to Simba—he’s ready to thrive with a family who’ ll love him as much as he loves them.

Story
Scooby Doo is a 12 year old dog my family has had him since he was 3, he was a rescue and has separation anxiety, so he tends to make messes. He is sensitive to peoples emotions and periods. He needs a decently sized backyard to run around in as he doesn’t have any joint issues and loves to run. He has been taught quite a few commands that go beyond house training. A few recurring issues he has are his ears and skin. Such as nonstop shaking from his ears bothering him and when he is anxious or in a flea ridden area he bites himself raw and loses fur. He has also had a UTI about 8 months ago. Changing diets abruptly or extreme stress gives him bubbly guts. I love him a lot, as I grew up with him however my family and I do not have the means or special care he requires to keep him healthy and happy.
