Meet Luda! Luda is an affectionate shar-pit mix. She was taken from an abusive owner but is thriving well in the rescue. Luda loves all humans, is okay with dogs her size or bigger, and loves to go for walks. Luda does have separation anxiety and will be super excited Everytime you return to her. She thrives best in a home where someone can give her plenty of attention, preferably with adults. She is housetrained, and barks like crazy when she has to use the restroom. She does climb fences less that 6 feet but will stay in the fence as long as you are with her while she does her zoomies. Reach out and meet Luda today!

Story
    Hi there, let me tell you a little about myself. I like nothing better than hanging with my people at home or going on walks. I walk nicely on a leash and love exploring and sniffing while out. I'm a chill girl and very well-behaved in the home.  I do all my pottying outside, and although I don't need to be crated, and I will even hang out in my crate if you need me to. I sleep in my crate in my foster home and love to lay alongside my people on the couch. I am a gentle girl and take my treats so nicely. I'm an 11-year-old Sharpei/Boxer mix who is very healthy and weighs around 60 lbs. I'm unsure what it means, but my foster mom always tells me how gorgeous I am. I sound just about perfect, don't I? I like other dogs well enough and don't mind passing them when we walk, but I would be better in a home without dogs, cats and small children. I can even play in the yard with some, but I'm not particularly eager to share my space or my things with them, so I'm looking for a forever home where I'm the only dog. I should clarify that I don't mind sharing my things with people; it's just the other dogs I don't want to share with. And cats? Well, my foster Mom says I'm way too interested in cats to be able to share a home with any. I don't have a lot of experience with young children, so my foster mom thinks I should stick to adults and teens because I may not do well with the energy of a younger child. Anyway, that's my story. Meet Davis Can you say sweet? Can you say incredibly sweet…possibly the sweetest? We can…about Davis! We rescued Davis from a high kill shelter so he could make someone’s or a family’s life rich and full of love. Davis has been nothing short of amazing since arriving. I don’t think we’re exaggerating. Some dogs just possess the sweet gene and Davis, despite all he’s been through, has it. Davis is about 2.5 years old. He weighs 51 lbs. He looks like a Boxer/Shar Pei mix (lots of cute wrinkles!), but small in size. He has a beautiful coat, warm brown eyes that beseech you, and an earnestness to do good that will melt your heart. He LOVES people and dogs, but no cats for Davis. Davis loves attention. He loves being loved on and in return he gives doggie kisses. Davis walks easily on a leash. He is a happy companion in strolling and sniffing. He loves to take it all in. Davis travels well. He has good, happy energy, but has a calm and snuggly side. He settles quickly. A fenced yard will be important for Davis so he can run and play safely. Davis is well-adjusted and is ready to embrace a family who will love and protect him. He will make for a wonderful companion given his easy-going ways and his sweet and friendly disposition.
