Story
Droopy, AKA Droop Dogg, is an approximately two year old male Sharpei. He has quite an interesting story that we would be happy to share with you upon inquiry. He is a little timid, but he is a sweet boy, and seems to be the type to attach to one owner. He does seem to have food aggression, so his potential forever family needs to be aware that he is accustomed to eating alone in his crate. Aside from that, he has had no reaction to other dogs. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Any additional questions, please feel free to message us.

Story
Punkin is an older Shar Pei. She is very sweet and gentle. The reason she is having to be rehomed is because her owner passed away a couple of months ago. All of my family already have dogs and can't take on her or her companion Hank. I know that her previous owner did have cats at one time too so I think she'll be fine with them. I think she'd also be fine with children. I just wouldn't want to take a chance around very young children. Punkin doesn't seem to hear very well. She also has some skin issues and possibly needs some other treatments. She is still full of life and even gets spunky around us. They are currently still living in their home with us going in and feeding them every day and letting them outside while we work on the house. Apparently she was crate trained because there are 2 crates in the house for them. We will give the crate to you as well if you want it. I really wish I could take them home with me, but I know it would be a problem with my two dogs.

These pups are in Macon, Georgia too!

Story
Name: Dove Breed: Boxer / Pit Bull mixSex/Age/Weight: Female, 11 months, 35-40 lbsVetting: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. House trained/Crate Trained: Dove is well on her way to being both house and crate trained. She does great if she’s taken out for regular potty breaks. She occasionally has an accident when she’s nervous.Dogs/Cats/Children: LOVES other dogs. She seems very interested in cats but doesn’t act aggressive towards them, more like “what are you?” The cats in Dove’s foster home are too nervous with new dogs/puppies so they won’t stay around her long enough for her to figure it out. Energy Level: High, but is pretty calm (especially for a puppy) in her crate. Training Status/Commands I know: Dove is doing well with no jumping. She’s working with her foster mom on coming when called and she’s doing good on her recalls.Working on: Sitting, firming up coming when called, and walking on a leash in a new place. Things I like: Playing with other dogs! Chasing balls with other dogs. Snuggles with people!Things I don’t like: Riding in a car/truck still makes her nervous, especially at first. Things that make my humans happy: Puppy snuggles! Ideal Family/Home: It’d be ideal if she could be with another dog. And with adopters that would understand she is high energy (since she is a puppy after all) and would let her run and play daily. If you are interested in giving Dove a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! It is best to submit an application through a computer. We have experienced some problems when applications have been submitted using a mobile device. When you submit the application, you are not obligated to adopt; however, it does put you in the queue for the puppy that you are interested in. To expedite the process, please make sure that you complete the application entirely – listing the names and phone numbers for your references (personal as well as vet and landlord, if applicable) and letting them know that we will be calling. Name: ShebaAge/Sex/Weight: 5 years/Female/37lbsBreed: Bull Terrier MixVetting: spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventionHouse trained: YesCrate Trained: YesBefore FAR: I was found as a pregnant stray. Luckily for me the rescue took me in, helped me have my babies and got them all adopted. Now I'm waiting for my Furever home! Energy Level: Medium.Things that make me happy: Humans, being the center of attention and getting lots of love and cuddles, walks, any time food comes out. Things that make my humans happy: When I'm sweet and affectionate, when I run around in circles when food comes out or when it's time to go on a walk. Working on: Laying down on command (I know sit stay, shake and high five already!); Being calm and not reactive around other dogs I don't know.Dogs: I can be a bit selective, and need a dog that will accept me as ""the boss""Cats: NoIdeal Family/Home: I would do best in a single dog home that is able to give me plenty of love and attention. Older children or no children at all would be best (I do love all kids though!). Because I tend to be reactive round other dogs I don't know or that also have dominant personalities, I need someone that is able to help me learn how to stay calm in these situations. I love my humans and am very loyal to them so would love to find a family that is the same with me! I'm ready to meet you and find my Furever home! Story
Name: LolliBreed: Boxer/Pit mixSex/Age/Weight: Female, approximately 4 years old, approx. 59 lbsVetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, and microchippedHouse trained/Crate Trained: Yes/YesBefore FAR: I was rescued from the Baldwin County Animal Shelter when I was pregnant with 12 puppies. All my puppies have found their furever homes, and now it’s my turn!Energy Level: I am a low to medium energy dog. I do get excited when I play with my foster fur siblings, especially outside, but I know when it is time to calm down. When I'm not playing, I do very well with relaxing with my humans or chewing on a bone. Things that make me happy: I love getting pets and belly rubs! I LOVE being with my people and tend to stick close to them whenever I can. I also love playing with my fur siblings or playing fetch in the yard with a ball or a stick. I LOVE water and will try to drink from the hose when you water your plants!Things that make my humans happy: I am very sweet and loving. I love to snuggle up on the couch with you. I am so incredibly soft and fun to pet, and I love being pet too. I am playful and always ready for an adventure!Training status: I am VERY well trained, both off and on leash. I know sit, down, here (recall command), drop (for fetch), and place; I will also hold these commands reliably during duration work. I am very food motivated which makes me eager and easy to train! Dogs: I love the other dogs in my foster home and I am friendly with all dogs I meet! I have great social skills with other dogs, but a meet and greet with future siblings would be best to make sure they can handle my energy.Cats: When I was cat tested I tried to play too rough with them, so I would do best in a home without cats.Kids: I have never been around children, but I think I would love them!Ideal Family/Home: I would be a wonderful addition to just about any home! I do well with all humans and dogs I have met.
