Meet Apollo! (And his lovely lady, Ebony!)Every gentleman needs a leading lady, and Apollo has his! Meet this handsome Shar-Pei mix who comes with a whole lot of personality, a few opinions, and one very special lady by his side!Apollo is the more outgoing half of this adorable bonded duo, and let`s just say...he`s never been one to keep his thoughts to himself!This charming, opinionated gentleman has a few things to say, and he would appreciate your undivided attention while he says them. Whether he`s sharing his thoughts on the day`s activities, discussing the latest kennel gossip, or simply reminding you that he is, in fact, the most important fellow in the room, Apollo is quite the conversationalist!And then there`s Ebony... His sweet, quieter other half who balances out his outgoing personality beautifully. Ebony can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she decides you`re one of her favorites, you`ve earned yourself a loyal bestie!She loves to listen when people talk to her, especially when accompanied with some quality booty scratches. She does politely request that you keep your hands away from her ears. A lady has her boundaries, after all!Together, these two are quite the pair. Apollo handles the public relations, Ebony keeps things classy, and both are always interested in hearing the latest tea!When it comes to socializing with other dogs, Apollo and Ebony enjoy participating in our playgroups. They`re not exactly the rough-and-tumble party animals. They`re more of the `let`s take a leisurely stroll, sniff the neighborhood, and discuss what everyone else is doing` type. Think country club social hour rather than a wild night on the town!These two also have wonderful leash manners! They`ve enjoyed a little shopping excursion to Tractor Supply, where they wandered the aisles like seasoned personal shoppers, carefully sniffing out the best deals. Despite the occasional slobbery situation, both Apollo and Ebony are quite particular about keeping their kennel clean. A gentleman and his lady have standards, you know!Underneath all that charm and personality is a story that deserves a happy ending. Apollo and Ebony came to AHeinz57 as owner surrenders through no fault of their own. They once knew the comfort of a home, familiar faces, and a family to call theirs.Now they`re hoping someone will give them that again.Together. Because these two are a package deal.Shar-Peis are known for their loyalty and intelligence, and Apollo and Ebony would do best in a home with older children who can appreciate their personalities and respect their boundaries.The hustle, bustle, and barking at the rescue can be a little overwhelming, so we`d love for potential adopters to meet these two in a quieter playroom where they can relax and show off their wonderful personalities.As with all our adoptables, a meet and greet with all resident family members is required to help ensure a forever match.One suave gentleman.
