Kip and Kash came to us as strays brought in by a good Samaritan. However, we`ve since learned they were dumped by their owner! In any case, good for us as they are wonderful big beautiful boys and deserve a better life! Both boys are between 1 and 2 years old, we believe. Kip is the 113# Rottweiler and Kash is the 90# boxer mix. They seem to be dog friendly, people friendly (Kip can be a little wary of strangers and does not like things pointed at him, and we respect that!) but haven`t had them around kids or cats yet, mostly due to their respective sizes. They are fully vetted and ready to go! Kash did have his cherry eye fixed, so that`s fine now! Great boys who have a lot of love to give - they both think they are lap dogs - lol! Kip knows how to sit and shake and they both take treats very gently:) They are good together, but are not a bonded pair and so do not have to be adopted together.

Meet Baxter!Baxter originally came to us as a stray puppy, was adopted, but then later returned in his adult years as he did not quite understand his size or strength around younger children. He is still very much a big, goofy pup at heart, but would do best in a home with older children who can help him feel safe and give him space when he gets wound up.This sweet boy is incredibly affectionate once he is comfortable. He loves being around his people, giving kisses, and being close to them. He can be a bit fearful of men at first, so a patient and understanding home that will help him build confidence at his own pace, would be great for him! While Baxter is an adult, being back at the shelter has been a little hard for him when it comes to building back a routine to potty outside, so he does have a few accidents in his kennel. To help him succeed, he would love a home with a more consistent routine and positive reinforcement once being in a new environment.We are unaware of how he does with other dogs or cats, so proper introductions are important to make sure everyone gets along well together.If you are looking for a loving and goofy companion and are willing to continue to help him grow into his best self, Baxter is ready for a fresh start and someone who sees just how special he is. Since then, we have learned lots about her and her personality!Fidgy`s personality includes communicating like a dolphin, having the energy like a toddler on espresso, and the misunderstood love language of a velociraptor. If Fidgy loves you, she will attempt to nibble your limbs with the enthusiasm of someone trying to taste-test friendship. And her affection style? Bold, unapologetic, and slightly mouthy playstyle with a little sprinkle of bouncy. But here’s the twist, if you are to sit down and just be with her, Fidgy transforms. The jumping stops. The squeaking softens. She’ll curl up beside you, let you pet her, and gaze at you like you’re the only human in the world. She may question if you might still taste good, but she’ll hold back.She loves to meet new people, and with treats involved, she learns to become fast friends! Due to her mouthiness, young children may not be the best fit for her and older children may understand that she is just trying to be playful. I love him very much n will miss him when he goes so I am hoping wherever he does go that I can possibly visit once in a while. If not, I truly understand. I have lung disease and my breathing is getting worse so I am unable to walk him because he is a puller. I am looking for a good home for him that preferably has a yard for him to get exercise, someone that will walk him and love him like he deserves to be loved. He is amazing❤️
