June is a beautiful Shar Pei and Carolina Dog mix who has come such a long way since being rescued from a hoarding situation. While her past may not have been easy, she’s slowly discovering how wonderful life can be — and she’s ready to find a patient, loving family to continue that journey with her. June can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you — this sweet girl warms up faster than you’d expect, especially if you come bearing her favorite treat: cheese! June would thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace. The best part? June is housebroken, crates beautifully, and didn't bark when she was in a foster home. She also gets along great with other dogs and even cats, making her a fantastic addition to a multi-pet household. Apply today to come meet June and you'll see just how sweet a shy girl can be! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
