Meet APRIL! April is a gorgeous, 3-4 year old, female Sharpei mix. This gal is sweet, friendly, and lovable. This tail wagging pup loves to get pets, is learning how to play, and also settles down nicely -- April can chill comfortably when you are busy with your work. She has great house manners and would be fine in apartments/condos as well as houses; she would be great with a single person, couple, or family with older children (e.g., 8 or above). April is smart, and LOVES to go for walks. Poor April found herself in a rural overcapacity shelter! No one came to look for her! She is so happy that PetConnect has come to her rescue to find a forever family that will give her the attention that she deserves and never end up in such a scary place as a kill-shelter ever again. Unfortunately, April arrived to PetConnect extremely obese and has been on a steady weight reduction plan; she has made great progress -- already losing 10 pounds, and will need to continue so that she can get to a healthy weight of 45-50 pounds! April would love to curl up with you to hang out on a cool spring night; she loves to get pets! She would be an excellent new member of the family! April is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, and eager to find a family to love! ***Please note that the first step is to fill out an application (It does not commit you in anyway but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit). In addition, an important step in approving applicants is a vet check to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** April is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. FRENCHIE is a gorgeous female puppy…possibly a Shar Pei mix. DOB 1/10/2024. We don’t know any of her history. She and her sister were found alongside the road in the country. Both pups are very friendly…but Frenchie is a tad bit more shy with first introductions. She has learned quickly that it’s a lot of fun to jump into the person’s lap and go for face licks. She will be a medium-sized dog when grown… possibly 45-55#s. She will probably be great with a family with kids…or someone who wants to do a lot of activity such as hiking, boating, etc. FRENCHIE is a keeper. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. Whoop Whoop!! Here we ARE!!! ALIVE AND LOVED AND READY FOR ADOPTION!!! :) We are a group of puppies that were born to a hoarding situation. There were 18 PUPPIES and 12 ADULTS in this group.... we ALL got saved!! So, we are a mix of probably 10 different breeds, all seen by the adults... pitbull, spaniel, shar pei, scruffy terrier, and maybe dachshund in there too :D So if you are looking for a SUPER CUTE, SMART, fluffy/not fluffy/short/not short puppy... WE HAVE THOSE CHARACTERISTICS!! We have been raised by our rescuers (and several wonderful fosters) for the last 6 weeks and we will make ANYONE great family members! ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!!
