I got Kevin back in October from KC Pet Project. He is a GREAT companion but he definitely has some special needs behaviorally and home wise that he needs for a fur-ever home. He is very loyal, cuddly, sweet, attached, and energetic. Once you are in his inner circle you are IN! Having said that he is very guarded when it comes to meeting people and this can come off as aggressive when he is actually just scared. He is particularly adverse to men but once around the same person he warms up. He has not had experience around children as that was not recommended at the time of his adoption. They said he played well with other dogs and I have had a few playdates that he has done fine on. He needs a single person/family home with no kids and probably no other pets. A yard or space would be preferred too. He can be very vocal and territorial with his home. He really is a great dog but I cannot care for him the way he needs. Hoping to find someone with alot of love and patience for him!

Meet Won Ton! Won Ton is quickly winning over the hearts of everyone he comes in contact with! Recently, he went on a Dog Day Out with one of our amazing volunteers and here is what was reported back: "Won Ton is the goodest boy! He is incredibly friendly and wants to be where the people are. Won Ton likes car rides and sits very politely in the back seat. He walks confidently and enthusiastically and would be happy to meet every person he sees. He's well socialized and knows how to sit and come (possibly also lay down and spin?), and he would sell his soul for a handful of treats and a squeaky toy. He'll happily play outside and chase after a toy when you throw it, but after a few rounds he's just as happy to lay in the shade for a quick snooze. He loves pets and attention, and would love to give you kisses to show his appreciation, but is very polite and respectful of boundaries if that's not your thing."Won Ton would absolutely love to meet you!
