They are quite the talkative bunch, filling the room with puppy grumbles, squeaks, and playful chatter as they romp around together. If you've never heard puppies hold an entire conversation while wrestling over a toy, you're in for a treat! Crinkle toys and squeakers are absolute favorites. Nothing is more exciting than pouncing on a noisy toy and carrying it proudly around the room. When playtime winds down, these little stars are all about soft blankets, cozy naps, and soaking up attention from their people. *Yogi is currently pending adoption Yogi is a 10 month, 50lb boy that is just starting to come out of his shell. After being on the run for a few months, Yogi was very skittish and timid upon arrival. Now, he is a playful and loving boy that is just beginning to show us his true colors. Yogi has loved rough housing with other dogs and is just beginning to show some interest in toys. He has done well with house and crate training as well. Yogi walks well on a leash, does well on car rides and loves to hike/swim. Despite his love for adventures, Yogi is a mild mannered boy that is perfectly happy to curl up on the couch with you. We did a DNA test on her and it came back as all Shar Pei. We didn't expect that! She looks Shar Pei when you meet her.  You will see the face, ears, shape of head of a Shar Pei. Not the size of a Shat Pei since she is only 25 pds.     Ramona is a Shar pei with the cute small ears,  chubby face, always smiling face. She doesn't have the traits of her breed. She is outgoing with people and everyone she meets is her new best friend. She loves playing with her doggy playmates. Her antics are of a puppy. Play, play, play! Ramona also loves the kiddie swimming pool. If you would allow her, she would be sitting in or running thru it every chance she got. The girl loves water. Her favorite toys have been the hard Nylabones, all rubber types, rope tugs and balls.  Foster Parents' notes: Ramona is a spunky girl who loves to play with toys and wrestling her foster brother. She also loves to cuddle and snuggle with her foster parents. She is a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you (treats help) she will be your best friend and shadow. She has had a couple of accidents in the house, but she is basically house trained. Ramona does pretty well going into her crate. Placing a treat in it will help her go in easier.
