You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Lizzie, a super sweet special needs pup Lizzie was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Lizzie was shot and the end result is her being partially paralyzed   While heartbreaking for any dog, Lizzie is young. She is only 1 1/2 years old. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143‍Despite her injury, Lizzie remains sweet and vibrant. She has a lot of love to give and loves to explore. Her favorite pastimes are giving kisses and exploring the great outdoors. Don’t let her paralysis fool you; this girl can seriously get around. We are looking for a very special foster or adopter for Lizzie. Unfortunately, the bullet that caused Lizzie’s rear legs to be partially paralyzed also made her both urine and bowel incontinent. The most challenging part of caring for Lizzie is her incontinence. Although she doesn’t need her bladder or bowels expressed, she does require significant care to take care of these needs. Lizzie is comfortable in diapers, but wearing diapers 24/7 creates its own unique problems. Even when they are changed frequently, she develops urine scald and irritation that requires special care.  If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Lizzie, please submit an application.We are happy to train you on all of Lizzie’s individual care needs. We take great care when adopting out any of our  dogs, but we’re even more cautious with special needs dogs, as they can easily fall victim to abuse or neglect. When adopting a dog that requires extra care, we have a stricter process and need to ensure you can commit to take on the responsibility.  Lizzie is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and kid-friendly. She is up to date on all her vetting, spayed and microchipped. Meet Nala, a delightful Shar Pei/Boxer mixed girl, brimming with love and energy! Known for her cuddly nature, Nala turns any lap into her personal snuggle spot. She embodies the spirit of a goofy, playful friend, always ready to lighten up your day with her charm. Despite her size, she`s a gentle soul who adores being close to her humans, always offering comfort. Nala does great with other dogs of all sizes, and has done well with dog-friendly cats and kids while in foster care. She is new to house and crate training but is picking it up like a dream! Nala is a big girl around 50 pounds and is still learning to walk calmly on a leash. She is absolutely devoted to her owners, though, and responds great to positive reinforcement. Nala’s playful spirit and loving nature make her a perfect candidate for anyone looking to enrich their life with a loyal and affectionate friend. Consider giving Nala the forever home she deserves!Nala has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and kept current on monthly preventatives. Notes from foster: Daisy has beautiful coloring, soulful eyes and would be an incredibly loyal companion. She doesn’t seem interested in playing with toys but does enjoy going on strolls around the neighborhood. Daisy is completely house trained and will go to the door when she needs to go out. She enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with confident, friendly dogs after proper introductions. Daisy is a bit shy in new settings and gets nervous at loud noises. Because of this, she would do best in a quieter adult/older children household. She is extremely gentle when taking treats, likes to supervise all kinds of activities, including making dinner and cleaning, but is very respectful of personal space and personal items. She’s been left alone uncrated without issue. While she could counter surf, she doesn’t and hasn’t tried, and always waits for permission to get on the bed (allowed here). She sleeps through the night, right by your side and sometimes quietly snores-it’s adorable. She has not tried to get on any other furniture and waits patiently at an open door. She has not barked at all since being in foster care. Daisy wags her tail with excitement when hearing her name and enjoys leaning against you when she’s being touched. Her demeanor is very sweet and subdued. She walks well on a leash, loves traveling in the car or just hanging out with her people and seems to enjoy wearing her winter sweater. She’s pretty perfect. Daisy does need to be an inside dog as she enjoys being around people and deserves a home where she can receive all the love and attention she desires.

Kaiden Is such a wonderful pup that is full of love and snuggles! He is very playful and absolute loves other dogs, kids and adults. He is completely housebroken and has had no accidents. He is also great trained. In fact, he is very quiet in his crate. He is not a barker at all. When we are gone from our home or when we sleep at night, he sleeps in his kennel. Kaiden LOVES Toys! His favorites are rope toys and treat puzzle toys. He is so smart at solving the puzzles! He is definitely food motivated! He has been such an amazing foster dog. The only thing that I would recommend is that he goes to a home without cats. He seems to have a prey drive I don't think cats would appreciate being chased! Please consider adopting this sweet boy! He will bring so much joy to your life.
