Meet Scrunchie – A New Chapter Begins! This beautiful lady was saved from the EU list at Harris County Shelter after spending nearly 40 days waiting for a second chance. They called her Grace, but with a new life comes a new name—welcome to the good life, Scrunchie! Scrunchie is a kind and curious Sharpei mix, soaking up all the love and comforts of her foster mom’s home. She weighs 45 lbs and is around 4 years old. While she is heartworm positive, she’s receiving treatment and is well on her way to becoming her happiest, healthiest self. This resilient girl was found in the shelter with a puppy who was adopted—now it’s her turn to find a family who will love her forever. As a Sharpei, she takes a bit of a time to ease up with other dominant dogs, but with proper intro--she does great and loves playing with friendly dogs unlike most Sharpei's. She weighs 50 lbs, in excellent shape, spayed with all her shots and heartworm negative, and ready to find her forever home!
