Story
Arya is an extra-sweet, extra-wrinkly Shar-pei rescued from the streets of Houston who is looking for her forever home. She loves to cuddle and play and be with her people. Don’t let her grumpy mug fool you, she’s a happy-go-lucky girl who loves life. Arya follows all the rules of the house and loves humans. As a Sharpei, she takes a bit of a time to ease up with other dominant dogs, but with proper intro--she does great and loves playing with friendly dogs unlike most Sharpei's. She weighs 50 lbs, in excellent shape, spayed with all her shots and heartworm negative, and ready to find her forever home!

Story
If you would like more information about MuDeng or are interested in adopting her, please send an email to freddielove5@yahoo.com MuDeng is her nickname because she reminds us of the Thai pygmy hippo. We met her when she was running into traffic at Studewood and 11th while we were walking home after dropping our kids off at school in the morning. She didn’t run away so we took her home. We took her to the vet and learned she had no chip and they estimated she was 4-6 months old. MuDeng gets along really well with our 2 dogs and loves to play and cuddle. She is really sweet, great with kids and other dogs. She loves to play, and she is energetic and smart! She has quickly learned “sit”. She took to the doggy crate we had for our dog without hesitation and sleeps quietly throughout the night (our dog wants it back). We are working on potty training. She is good on the leash and has a very distinct, proud trot. MuDeng doesn’t show any signs of trauma (our other rescues did when we got them.) She is calm and quiet when she is on her own and likes to sit on the sofa (she is not allowed but insists so we are working on that.) Story
Toffee: •Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever mix •6 months old •35lbs •Spayed female •Dog friendly •Working on potty and crate training •So wrinkly and cute! Toffee is a chill, cuddly, affectionate 6 month old Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever mix who loves being pet, playing, and chilling around the house with you! Her default position is sitting next to you waiting for pets, no matter where you are. Toffee is a petite girl at only 35lbs and she's not expected to get much bigger (50lbs max)! Toffee was found as a stray and taken to our local high kill shelter where she (somehow) landed on the euthanasia list for space and lack of adoption interest. We're not sure why no one paid her any attention, as she's obviously got the cutest wrinkles and sweet face! With the shelter being so overcrowded, dogs usually don't get very long to find placement and Toffee was put on the euthanasia list not long after arriving at the shelter. Luckily, we were able to save her and she's been the best little rescue guest ever! Toffee is more of the shy side when she first meets new people, but she seems to warm up pretty quickly. She likely didn't have a great life before coming to us (as is the case with most of our pups), and she is pretty timid and shrinks back at sudden movements due to this. She is gaining more confidence each day and is steadily coming out of her shell, but she will need a patient adopter who is understanding of her shy nature and is willing to work with her to build up her confidence. Once she gets used to you and her surroundings, Toffee is a rather calm girl who would rather nap at your feet than partake in the usual puppy shenanigans that come with her age. She enjoys playing with other dogs but is more people and affection oriented than anything. She tends to be more on the dominant side with other dogs but gives and takes corrections well. She's a pretty easy girl to get along with! Toffee is working on her crate and potty training and is doing well in her progress with each. She's a smart little cookie who can learn a lot with the right training! Toffee is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
Mickey is an energetic snugglebug, at only 3.5yrs old and 40lbs he still has plenty of puppy energy for playtime and zoomies but also loves nothing more than tiring himself out and coming in for and snuggle sesh. He loves walks, car rides, and playing tug of war - but also can self entertain with a good rope or stuffed animal friend.  He is fully potty trained and a big fan of the doggy door, but will scratch to let you know he needs to go if the door is closed. He would needs a home with a yard, as he is definitely an outdoorsman! He is not fond of his crate, so we are working on his crate training. He is very smart and food motivated (especially raspberries!), he knows sit, stay, come, lay down, and hush it - he is VERY responsive to no-no, as he aims to always please his person.  New things can sometimes be a little scary, so introducing him to new places and people, but he is very quick to overcome and warm up to his next adventure.  He does well with bigger and calmer dogs, and has not interacted with children directly but is very curious and observant when they pass by the yard.  He has a happy growl during playtime that can be misinterpreted by humans but the resident dogs speak his language and don’t take offense to his tone, they play right back! No small children, no apartments Adoption fee is: $350.00 He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm and fecal neg and on flea, tick and heartworm prevention ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
