Meet Kimber & Colton! 🐾🐾 Kimber (female) and Colton (male) are sweet sibling pups who came to us as owner surrenders due to unforeseen circumstances—through no fault of their own. They’re now looking for loving homes where they can feel safe, supported, and truly part of the family again. Both dogs have medium energy levels and do well with other dogs. They can be a bit shy at first and need time to adjust, but with patience and consistency, their personalities begin to shine. They already know “sit”, are food motivated, and respond well to corrections, making them great candidates for continued training. On leash, Kimber and Colton may pull, so ongoing leash training will be important to help them build confidence and good walking manners. They are not good with cats, so a cat-free home is needed. They can be adopted together or separately, and each would do best with an adopter who understands that shy dogs blossom beautifully when given time, routine, and kindness. If you’re ready to help one (or both!) of these siblings start their next chapter, Kimber and Colton would love to meet you. 💛🐶

Story
Meet Nana, a sweet and affectionate girl for someone who is looking for an intelligent and playful companion. Her petite frame would make her great for an apartment or small home (she doesn't bark when someone someone knocks on the door!), ideally one that appreciates the fun, engaged nature of herding breeds. She learns tricks almost immediately and her active mind loves anything that stimulates her brilliant brain such as puzzle toys, sniff games, treat dispensing balls, snuffle matts, etc. She has excellent manners in the home and knows "sit", "down", "stay", and her command of "leave it" is amazing. Nana walks beautifully on leash and gets along with everyone she meets - humans, dogs and cats! She is full of energy when she is playful but can also be mellow during the day as long as she is mentally stimulated between her naps and gets some exercise at the end of the day. While true to her Border Collie and McNab sheepdog mix breed she is always ready for an athletic adventure whether it be hiking, running or exploring the outdoors, Nana is also equally happy to accompany you anywhere you go whether it is riding in the passenger's seat in the car, meeting up with your friends for a happy hour or going to a cafe. She adores other dogs and would do wonderfully with a doggy sibling or a doggy neighbor she could regularly socialize with. She would thrive with someone committed to regular playdates and dog park outings. She absolutely loves playing chase, wrestling, and making new canine friends. Nana would make a fantastic family dog and does well with kids, especially with gentle guidance as she continues to learn her manners. If you are looking for a loving, energetic, and loyal companion who will keep life fun and full, Nana may be your perfect match.
