My name is Sorme, and here is a little info about me:Breed: Shepard mix (possibly Indian Pariah/German Shepherd mix)Age: 2 1/2 yearsGender: FemaleWeight: 26 kgHeight: 20 inches Country of origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): Sweet, obedient, great with kids and dogs, fast learner A little about me:Hello, my name is Sorme! I’m a sunshine soul with big ears and a bigger heart! I love cuddles, treats, and learning new things that make you smile. I was found as a tiny, frightened puppy wandering the streets of the Middle East—hungry, alone, and unsure of the world around me. I didn’t know what love felt like… until kind humans took me in, gave me warmth, safety, and the care I desperately needed. Now, I’m ready to share all the love I’ve been saving up with my forever family. I’m very friendly, obedient, and a fast learner. I love people and other dogs, especially kids who like to play! I’m eager to please and always up for a game or a cuddle. My heart is full of trust and joy—I just need a loving home to give it to. I'd do well in a home that enjoys companionship and is looking for a smart, affectionate dog. If you have other pups or kids, I’ll fit right in. I haven’t met cats yet, so I’m not sure about them, but I’m open to new friends!More About Me: Energy Level: Moderate to High —I love walks, playtime, and learning tricks, but I’m also happy to relax near you after a good day. I Get Along With: Dogs: Yes! I love doggy friends. Cats: Unknown – I haven’t met any yet. Kids: Unknown – Yes! Fears: None observed, but please be patient as I adjust to my new environment. I promise to blossom with your love. Training: Leash skills: Yes, but please continue to guide me in my new home.House trained: Yes but please continue to guide me in my new home. Health Notes:I am healthy and ready to go!I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is 800 CAD plus applicable taxes. Due to the present confrontational Middle East environment where this dog resides, airlines are minimally operating. He/She may therefore be delayed in arriving to Canada. He/She will eventually be sent, but we have no specified timeframe at this moment. If you are willing to wait, we and this dog appreciate your patience. Most passengers from the Middle East now require a fee to accompany a dog on a flight. Due to this, if a rescuer finds a flight with this requirement, we will contact you to see if you are willing to pay the passenger. You are under no obligation to do this. If not, another flight will need to be searched for, though there is no guarantee a free or lower cost one will be found. Though oft times a passenger is requesting higher amounts, the fee will not exceed $250. Our rescuers work extremely hard finding flights and spend tremendous amounts of money caring for and sending these dogs to safety. They simply haven't the extra money to cover this. Thank you for your understanding. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.  [MID EAST DOGS] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. ##2365208##

THIS IS A COURTESY POST. PLEASE CONTACT THE PERSON OR GROUP LISTED BELOW. THIS IS NOT A LOVED AT LAST DOG.  Please do NOT submit an application through LALDR. Please contact Mike at Mike_kossowski@hotmail.com  for more information or to adopt. Hi everyone, I am the adorable Auggie and here's some information about me:Breed: Pitbull/Malinois brindle mixAge: ~ 1  1/2 yrsGender: MaleWeight: ~ 75 lbsHeight: (ground to shoulder) 24 inches I was saved last year August from a sketchy situation at a breeder, at ~ 3 months old. Even though I was the runt of the litter, I showed the most love and affection to my adopter and immediately won him over. Unfortunately due to some unexpected changes in my person's life, including the loss of a backyard for me, he has had to make the diffcult decision to find a new home for me. For a young dog, I am well socialized and have been professionally trained in obedience skills and tricks. My person says that I did very well at daycare and that I am a sweet loving boy, adored by all! My training also extends to the proper manners, waiting for my food, walking well on leash and being crate trained. My favourite pastimes are swimming, hiking, car rides, fetching sticks and playing tug of war. For a young pup, I have a clean bill of heath and had all my shots and deworming. An adoption fee of $100 applies. https://youtube.com/shorts/xvv1K0rTP8k THIS IS A COURTESY POST. PLEASE CONTACT THE PERSON OR GROUP LISTED BELOW. Story
Good day!  My name is Marlin (aka Martin) and I'd love to tell you a bit about me!   Breed: German Shepherd / CannanAge: 8 yearsGender: MaleWeight: 56 lbs / 25 kgHeight: TBDCountry of origin: Israel I'm a handsome, older guy (born in May 2017) and I'm a mix of german shepherd/canaan breeds.  I've never lived in a proper stable home environment; I really hope to find one.  I'm quite an energetic dog and I love to be outdoors.  I can be somewhat selective with the dog friends I make, and while I can play nicely with them, I think I'd prefer to be the only resident dog in my forever home.  I need a fair amount of exercise, so will be most pleased with a very active family. As you can see, I am a very smiley, happy boy.  https://youtu.be/Ua0EzZr-qNcAfter being confiscated from a neglectful home, I went to a local shelter when I was around 1 year old, and I have been there ever since.  It is about time I find a home!  Having never received consistent, dedicated training from humans, I need a fairly experienced handler/owner who knows about & has experience with training. Since I'm happiest outdoors, having a yard would be good!  This will help me acclimate to living inside.  I hope you are willing to give me time to understand a house is a great place to be.I have had basic training: leash walking with a halti, heel, sit, down, bed/place, in addition to exposure to other dogs. Continued training and review of what I know would be good. I'm a smart pupper, and can learn tricks too https://youtu.be/Lr8EJ2Zkc1I. Here I am calm at the vet's office: https://youtu.be/udM_Cc-MOgk. Energy Level: high Fears: unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Training: yes, basic training commands and leash walkingLeash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: No, as I live in a shelter environment. Please be prepared to help me learn! My adoption fee is $650.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs.
