With rescue dogs, age and breed are always our best guess, but what we know for certain is that Rex is an incredibly special boy with a heart as big as he is. His foster absolutely gushes about him, sharing that her favorite thing about Rex is that he is always happy and truly goes with the flow of whatever the day brings. He loves affection, especially when you squat down and invite him in, but he is also perfectly content entertaining himself with toys, sniffing around, or relaxing nearby. He has mastered the art of being close without being demanding and truly knows how to chill. He is fully potty trained and crate trained, making him an easy addition to a home. Rex enjoys his​ daily leash walks and walks nicely when you are moving, though he is always happy to pause for a good sniff when given the chance. He loves toys, especially Kongs and a good game of tug of war, and he often carries them around proudly as if showing them off. He is treat motivated, eager to please, and genuinely just a very good dog. Rex lives with small children and is extremely gentle with them. Even a four year old can walk him on leash, and he instinctively knows to go slow and be careful with tiny humans. He is sweet, patient, and respectful, with the kind of temperament that families dream of. People are truly Rex’s favorite thing​ in the whole world. He is friendly, affectionate, and easygoing with everyone he meets, and he has a way of making people feel instantly at ease. The personality. The face. The size. The EARS! Everything about Kaiser Cruz from head to toe, inside out, is literal perfection. Shepherd lovers better hurry up because he won't be available for long. He is snuggly, dog friendly, loves the outdoors, smart, and great with kids! The list can quite literally go on and on and on. Biggest flex this boy has are those amazing ears. Full of personality and full of cuteness. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Kaiser is the perfect combination of affection while also being independent. He's not overly needy with his love nor does he ever over do it. If you're someone that works from home, he'll be a great work from home buddy because he's not going to be constantly begging you for attention or getting into things he shouldn't be (he has wonderful house manners I might add). He's the type that will come up to you when the time is right for a little ear/nose scratch almost as if he knew you needed a 5 min break from work. As for the rest of the time, he's a window watcher and loves looking out windows or he'll be playing with a toy. While Kaiser waits for his forever family, he is being spoiled by his foster family and they absolutely adore him and rave about him. He is currently fostered in a home with kids ages 4 and 8 years old, and Kaiser has been nothing but sweet perfection around the kids in his foster home. They have the best time playing together, snuggling, and he loves being a part of a family dynamic. Kaiser is very tolerant with all of the kids in the home and just loves them to pieces. He has no issues when the kids are playing with his toys, running around, and is frequently found giving them the gentlest kisses. It's the sweetest thing! If you have kids and are looking for a bestie for your kiddos, Kaiser is definitely your guy. Not only is Kaiser great with kids, he is also very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to and is also fostered in a home with an 8 month old playful pittie mix. Kaiser has been around dogs all with different personalities and has done great with every single one. Kaiser is wonderful about meeting new dogs and will either play with them or will go off and do his own thing. That's what is so great about him, the way he is able to adapt to the dogs around him. He can run around, have a good time and he also just as happy going off and doing his own thing while the other dogs are being wild. Kaiser is more about exploring and doing his own thing rather than playing with other dogs. Though when Kaiser does play, he plays like a total shepherd. If you know shepherds or have ever owned one, then you know they love mouthy air play, will give nose boops where they see fit LOL, and use their paws like they are professional boxers at times all while keeping things lighthearted and fun. Shepherd play is definitely entertaining to say the least. Kaiser would love to have a dog sibling in the home, but if you don't have one, that's okay too. He does not need the company of another dog to satisfy his energy needs or to help him open up. Kaiser would love to be in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, and explore all the fun smells. He would make a great companion while you garden and relax on the patio enjoying the fresh air. When you meet Zumi Cutie you're instantly noticing that he has the type of face that makes you almost get that uncontrollable urge to squeeze his squishy little face, as if his cuteness is to much for your heart to handle, like your love for him is just bursting out in an adorable, squishy explosion! There is so much to love about him. From his sweet and gentle personality, to his sweet baby face, those gorgeous eyes, and last but certainly not the least...the most perfect pink piggy nose. He is a rescue dog and, with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. When Zumi greets new people, he is more on the shy side, but it does not take long for him to be leaning into you for affection and slowly inching his way into your lap. That's why we like to call him a distinguished gentleman because of the way he shows his affection with gentle nudges and thoughtful closeness. He's never over the top or love-bombing you with kisses. He gives you just enough and will gladly offer more if you ask. It's the perfect mix. You'll see in his video how happy and excited he gets with the people he loves. His inner puppy comes out and he turns into the happiest, wiggliest guy. Just imagine coming home to that type of greeting every time you walk through the door. This boy sure does know how to make you feel special and like the most important person in the world. Zumi is very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to. He's the type that's just happy to be there and included. He has a gentle play style that is more bouncy, romping alongside his doggy friends, mixed in with the occasional wrestling match. He is respectful around dogs that don't want to play, and he is completely happy and content chilling outside and enjoying the fresh air together or relaxing inside on their dog beds. He knows when to take play breaks and is content either way. Zumi will do best in a home with a happy-go-lucky doggy friend that enjoys the company of other dogs, will engage in playful moments, and also appreciates downtime too. He would also do best in a kitty-free home as well. When it comes to training, this boy loves treats and will do anything for a treat and some encouragement. Treats are one of the ways to this boy's heart. He takes treats very gently too, and I love the way his mouth just barely touches your hand so you can feel how soft and fuzzy his lips are. Which smooth like butter. Zumi is eager to please, walks well on a leash, and hardly ever pulls. He is crate trained and potty trained as well and does best when he can get a couple of potty breaks throughout the day. He would thrive in a home with a semi-active family looking for a buddy to take on adventures, explore those trails you have saved on the map, and be a loving companion to show what it means to be loved and cherished.
