This is Tora, she is 6 years old. She is 54 lbs and won't get any bigger. She is spayed and up to date with most shots but still needs her most recent rabies vaccine. Tora is incredibly smart, loyal and loving. She does well with kids and other dogs. She is very energetic and down for adventure. She will make an amazing new friend and a perfect addition to any family. We've decided to rehome her due to an upcoming long distance move. Finding a place in another state is difficult enough without limiting it to somewhere that accepts dogs. We've been caring for my Mother in Law with severe Alzheimer’s Dementia for the last 2 1/2 years which has taken time and attention from Tora. She needs a family that will shower her with love and give her the time she deserves.

This affectionate boy loves to follow his people around and be part of the action. He's an active pup who enjoys outings and gets excited to hit the road - he may pull on the leash at first, but settles in nicely and walks well after that. Pike already knows how to "sit" and would thrive with positive reinforcement training and a consistent routine to help channel his enthusiasm. He's done well with other dogs on outings but may prefer to be the only dog at home due to some guarding behaviors and reactivity. If you have another dog, bring them in to see if it's a good match! Pike also has a positive history living with cats and children! Come meet this lovable guy and see if he's the perfect fit - don't forget to bring the whole family! He came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past - but what we do know is that he adores calm spaces, cozy naps and sunbathing like it's an art form. He loves being pet and will happily lean in for all the affection you're willing to give. He's done well interacting with other pups in our care and seems to be potty-trained. Like many seniors, he's shown some possible signs of arthritis in our care, but nothing gets in the way of his ability to appreciate the simple joys in life. Jovan is looking for a peaceful home where he can take things slow, soak up the sunshine and be your loyal, low-key companion.
