This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Luna, contact Kelly below... Luna is a very loving dog. She loves children and adults and gets along with other dogs She is high energy, loves to ride in the car, loves the snow and hiking and is very smart. She comes with an E collar and the $1,600 training that comes with it. She has been microchipped and fixed. She is 2 and 1/2 and is a mix of German Shepherd, Lab and Rottweiler. She looks like a German Shepherd and she does have some resource guarding in her crate but has never bit anyone. She comes with a bed, wire crate, and medicine for anxiety when going to the vet. She would love to be with a single person who likes to hike or a family who has time to play and walk with her. She is a great running partner and is a good stroller walker. She is so loving, it is breaking our hearts that we have some circumstances within our family and cant keep her. Kelly 910-526-8221 Luna what love!!

Story
How this pet arrived: Zoodle was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on March 7, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Zoodle, the sweet but timid pup with a heart of gold! Shy at first, Zoodle takes her time to trust, but once she does, she blossoms into a friendly companion. She enjoys her independence but welcomes gentle pets from those she trusts. Zoodle is looking for a serene and tranquil home where her world can stay cozy and calm. She's a bit of a homebody who doesn't do well with crowds or new people approaching her too quickly. While she prefers to be the sole pet (and would do best without much exposure to small pets), she may be open to sharing her space with a mellow, large dog who matches her laid-back play style. Get ready for some zoomies and playful antics with this adorable canine, who delights in frolicking with her favorite toys! If you're looking for a gentle soul to brighten your days, Zoodle might just be the perfect match for you! Bring the whole family in to say hello! Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Sable Secondary Color: Sable Weight: 62.2 Age: 4yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Buckey was brought in by a community member on Apirl 17, 2024.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Buckey, a handsome pup searching for his new home! Buckey may be a bit shy around new people at first, so it is important to go slow and use patience when getting to know him in order to build a strong bond. Due to his initial nervousness around new faces, any children in the home should be over the age of 10. Buckey knows his basic commands like sit and absolutely adores treats, making training a breeze. He is one playful pup who can't get enough of fetch - he'll happily retrieve the ball and bring it back for more fun. Buckey also has a positive history with other doggy friends. If you're ready to welcome a loyal and loving companion into your life, Buckey might be the perfect match for you! Come meet this stunning pup and don't forget to bring a leash and collar! How this pet arrived:License was rescued by the Humane Law Enforcement Team on April 23, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Gorgeous girl License is searching for a patient and understanding new home with her best buddy, Registration 902892. They are bonded, meaning they need to go home together! A treat-motivated enthusiast of "sniffaris," she thrives on sensory exploration and delights in the simple joys of life. Her fear and reactivity toward strangers necessitate a virtual behavior consult prior to an in-person interaction to help ensure a safe and positive experience for both License and her potential adopter. Forging a bond with License will require patience; be prepared to build trust at her pace. (Leveraging treats and playtime will help build a connection with her faster!) As we continue to unravel the layers of her unique personality and preferences, we'll update this description. If you're prepared to open your heart and home to License, come meet her with a leash and collar in hand - you may just bring home your new companion. Story
Meet Willow! Willow is a German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. Her father is a German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is a beautiful girl that needs to be rehomed. She still has puppy ways and is in need of training. She currently plays around kids who range in age from 4-10 years, but she needs supervision as she is a big girl and can knock over small kids. Training is a must when she finds her new home. She was born on October 19, 2022. She is crate trained, housetrained, and a quick learner. She has a lot of energy since she is still a puppy, but she can also relax indoors. She will be spayed before going to her forever home and will be fully vaccinated then, too. She is a sweet girl who just needs the right forever home. CHARACTERISTICS Friendly, Affectionate, Playful, Smart, Curious, Independent, Loves kisses. To meet Willow, contact Nicole at nestrada109@gmail.com or call or text (760) 402-8088. Willow is being fostered in the Escondido area of San Diego County.

Story
Meet Pliny! The ancient and wise philosopher Pliny the Elder told us that bigger is better, and this four-legged Pliny is better and wiser than the best! Pliny is a four-year-old Shepherd mix who has lived at the Carlsbad shelter since January. He is tan and white, weighs 104 lbs, and is current on vaccinations. He is a calm, low-maintenance, affectionate, medium-energy boy with big, soulful eyes and a loving disposition. He is house-trained, knows "sit" and other commands, and walks nicely on a leash. From his perspective, there is no need to hurry, so he takes his time and keeps an eye on his handler while sniffing the shelter grounds and smelling the flowers. And like any wise dog, Pliny loves car rides, treats, and learning new commands and tricks (with treats, of course!). After nine months of living in the shelter, Pliny still obediently crawls onto his kennel cot every night, dreaming that his "fairy dog parents" will come and take him to his forever home tomorrow. CHARACTERISTICS Friendly, Affectionate, Playful, Smart, Curious, Quiet You can meet Pliny at the San Diego County Animal Shelter North Campus, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011. The shelter is open for animal viewing Tue-Fri from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and Sat-Sun from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Call 619.767.2675 to schedule an appointment to meet Pliny at other times. Be sure to mention Pliny's ID number, A1907550. PLEASE NOTE: This is a Courtesy Listing, and ARRF has no information about this dog. Contact the North County Shelter to meet him. Call 619.767.2675 to schedule an appointment, or see below for animal viewing times at the shelter.

Story
How this pet arrived:Kiara was brought in by a community member on February 14, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Kiara, a charming canine who found her way to us as a stray. While her past remains unknown, one thing is clear: Kiara is a dog who enjoys human connection. She's a social butterfly who adores attention, happily resting her head on your lap for pets. However, Kiara can be reactive towards other dogs, so she's seeking a forever home where she can reign as the sole furry companion. Her exuberance sometimes translates into jumps of excitement, so a household without young children would be ideal; it's not super common, and she has done well with ten and twelve year old's in her foster home! Nevertheless, Kiara's zest for life is infectious -she loves to frolic and play fetch, and she's a smart girl who will sit for treats and can't wait to learn more tricks! If you're ready for a loyal friend to share your adventures, Kiara is waiting to join your family and fill your life with joy! Come ask about adopting her today!
