Meet Twix, a two year old neutered white pittie weighing 46 pounds and affectionately known as a land seal thanks to his adorable looks and gentle, squishy charm. Twix arrived as an unclaimed stray with no collar, no tags, and no one coming to look for him. He was roaming during a freeze and snowstorm, facing the cold completely alone. No one missed him, yet Twix never stopped being kind.
Despite everything, Twix is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ever meet. He greets other dogs with happy kisses, enjoys playing with canine friends, and has shown wonderful manners by sharing water with other dogs. He walks well on a leash and is a true cuddle bug who loves hugs and close companionship. His happy personality shines through in his wiggly body and those irresistible tippy tappy toes.
Twix has a special love for stuffed animal toys and will happily dig through a bag or box to pick out his favorite one before settling in to play. His cute pink nose and soulful eyes only add to his charm, and it is no surprise he has quickly become a shelter staff favorite and a very good boy in every way.
Now Twix is ready for what he has never had. He is dreaming of the good life, complete with his own collar and tags, a cozy bed, and a warm place to call home. Twix is ready to be loved, cherished, and chosen for once and for all. If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with a heart of gold, Twix is waiting to meet you and finally start the life he has always deserved.

Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them!
We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us!
We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications!
We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
