Story
Tobi is a sweet three year old neutered boy. He is loving, goofy, and pretty smart. He's house-trained, walks on a leash, and knows basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, shake). He does okay with kids in the house, though I think he'd be happier without them. He's protective and anxious. I've worked with him as best I can for over a year and just don't have the time to give him the training he really needs. He would shine with a job to keep him active and engaged, or at least a huge yard to run around. He would be fine in a home with another dog or dogs, but he is reactive to other dogs when he's on a leash. No medical issues (except anxiety). All shots current and full medical records for the time we've had him. Microchipped. He's definitely part German Shepherd (those ears!). The rest is unknown. Doberman? Lab? Pittie? Don't know. Adoption fee is negotiable. We just want him in a perfect home.

Story
🐾 Meet Teddy! 🐾Teddy is a 60-pound Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix with chondrodysplasia, giving him his adorable short legs—most people think he’s part Corgi! We rescued him as a puppy in April 2024.Teddy is incredibly cuddly and thinks he’s a lap dog. He loves kids, adults, other dogs he knows, snow, and playing with his best buddy Archie, our Schnauzer-Shih Tzu mix. He is smart, high-energy, and has completed extensive professional training. He would thrive in an active home, farm, or ranch with daily exercise. The only aggression Teddy has ever shown is food-related resource guarding. Outside of those situations, he is loving and affectionate. Because young children cannot always understand those boundaries, we are seeking an experienced, ADULT-ONLY home familiar with resource guarding. Follow-up trainer visits are available to help with his transition.Rehoming fee applies but may be waived for the right fit. Our priority is Teddy’s perfect home.
