Story
Meet Honey, a super cute 5-6 month old female German Shepherd mix puppy, currently weighing about 30 lbs! We expect her to grow to a medium/large dog. Honey was saved from an overcrowded kill shelter in east TN. As her name suggests, Honey is a SUPER sweet girl! She is very friendly and loves all people (especially kids!) and other dogs. She has not been cat tested, but we think she would likely do ok with dog savvy cats. She is gentle and loving, and she LOVES running around and playing outside!  She is medically up to date, crate trained, and about 90% housebroken (she is a smarty pants and has learned to ring a bell when she has to go potty). Apply to meet this darling pup today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2614802##

Story
COURTESTY POST- We are listing Eartha to help her family find her forever home. Please text or call 860-680-9059 if you would like to meet her. Eartha is an amazing young dog who loves, loves, loves her people. She is also great with cats, and is incredbily gentle and content in their presence. She has participated in a basic obedience training class where she learned sit, down and stay. She is good on the leash and loves to go places in the car and has great manners while on rides and stays in her spot staring out the window happily! She is crate trained, and obediently goes right in without coaxing. Eartha loves to play with other dogs, and can be around them while out and about but she needs to live as an only dog due to some resource guarding in the home that is ONLY directed at dogs. But, due to this fact, we would also like to see her in an adult only home out of caution. Her family has to keep her seperated from the other dog now and it is just not fair to everyone. Please consider being her angel and meeting this beautiful, low maintenence girl. We will screen applicants but will waive an adoption fee for the right family. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines and is very healthy and happy. Thank you for considering her. ##2546294##
