Story
We adopted Odie July 2024 from a foster family in Virginia. I need to care for my brother that recently had a stroke and need to leave Odie alone for months at a time so I want to find him a new home. Odie is a sweet loveable companion. He just chills next to me all day while I work from home. He can be left home alone but is not crated. He loves his walks and LOVES to drive in a car. He has chicken sensitivity and seasonal skin allergies. He sheds similar to a shepherd. He likes his regular brushing and tolerable in a shower and getting his hair blown dry, ears cleaned and nails trimmed. He loves everyone that comes by for a visit. He knows basic commands. His only behavioral issue is he gets so over excited when I'm putting his leash on him so I just do a quick slip it onto his neck and get him outside fast. I've taken him to training for this but I have a hard time correcting him when he's just happy to go for a walk.
