Story
Meet Petunia-Grace, also known affectionately as Petunia, Poots, Tuni, and Gracie! This sweet girl has had a tumultuous life. She has been in and out of the shelter nearly her entire life at no fault of her own. She found herself back at the shelter once again when her owner unexpectantly passed away last year. This sweet and affectionate cutie-patootie knows there's someone out there for her! During her time here, Petunia has formed strong bonds with several volunteers and staff members, but we want so badly for her to find her forever person. She is slow to warm up to people -- she is wary and untrusting of people at first, but can we blame her? Her true personality is the opposite of what she displays when she first meets people. When Petunia connects with someone, her loyalty and affection knows no bounds. She's a dedicated protector, always eager to be by her person's side, providing comforting cuddles, and readily offering her belly for those cherished tummy scratches. Once trust is established, she becomes an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Petunia would thrive in a calm or quiet environment without other pets, where she can shower her chosen person with unconditional love and devotion. This little girl is as sweet as pie and even though she's a 9 year old couch potato, she has the most impressive puppy dog eyes. She needs someone who will dedicate the time to build and teach her trust. If you believe in her, she will believe in you. She will love you fiercely and unconditionally. Please give her a chance!

Story
Roo-Roo was abandoned by an apartment complex dumpster and joined us on November of 2022. She's been patiently waiting for a family but no one has come to meet her in months. She is affectionate, low-energy, and sweet. She takes time to warm up to new people, as she is understandably weary of strangers. Once she learns to trust you, she transforms into a happy goofball. This chunky gal has a playful nature that shines through when she performs play bows and wiggles her butt in the air, a surefire way to make anyone smile. When she gets REALLY excited she'll get mini-zoomies, but she's so chunky that her butt has a hard time keeping up with the rest of her body. Other than her random bursts of zoomies, she is quite low-energy and is often found sunbathing outside or sleeping in her bed. She knows sit and doesn't jump up on people. She keeps her area clean and never destroys her toys or makes a mess in her kennel. Though she hasn't formally been dog tested, we get the impression that she prefers males over females, or at least a submissive dog. We've caught her a couple of times play bowing to another dog between fences. At the shelter, Roo-Roo resource guards her food bowl, so we suggest feeding her separately. We also suggest no young children because of this reason. She may improve with a stable environment, but we always air on the side of safety. If you're ready to provide a loving home and companionship to this sweet girl, don't hesitate to visit us during our opening hours. Spend some quality time with Roo-Roo and you'll discover the warmth and charm she can bring to your life. All she needs is a chance to prove how wonderful life can be with her by your side.

Story
G-Dog is a young, gentle happy-go-lucky pup whose entire back end wiggles when he is happy, which is pretty much all the time! He had lived outdoors and was pretty neglected before Angels to the Animals rescued him. G-Dog adapts well to any situation as he now loves living with his foster family where he enjoys playing with their large dog and their 2 teenage boys. Prior to being rescued, he played well with a small chihuahua so he likes all shapes and sized. G loves toys and can be somewhat possessive of them with other dogs so this needs to be watched. G-Dog is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines and is heartworm negative. He is an affectionate, friendly boy who is funny and loves kisses. Please give this sweetheart a chance and email info@angelstotheanimals.org to arrange a meet and greet or request an application. You will love making him a part of your family - he will love you forever!
