Story
?? Meet Zuko: The Bestest Boy! ??This handsome 3-year-old shepherd/husky mix came to us as a stray, and he`s ready to find his forever home! Zuko is already a star—he knows how to sit and wait patiently for a tasty treat, showcasing his sweet and gentle nature. When Zuko met another dog at the shelter, his tail was wagging wildly, and he was remarkably tolerant of the other dog`s high-energy and playful jumping around. It just shows how easygoing and patient he is! We can totally see him fitting right into a loving home.If Zuko sounds like the perfect addition to your family, we`d love for you to come meet him at the shelter!*Before adopting, we always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children who will reside in the same household to ensure it`s a good fit.*

Story
???? Meet Dill — the sweet, zoomie-loving stray who won us over instantly! ????Dill is yet another stray whose journey brought him to us after he wandered into his finder’s yard. They kindly kept him safe until our officers arrived. At first, Dill wasn’t too sure about our officer… but he took an immediate liking to the finder’s daughter, allowing her to leash him with no hesitation. It didn’t take long for Dill to realize that our officer was a friend, too—face licks began the moment his intake vaccines were given, all while cheerful chatter filled the air. This boy warms up quickly and loves deeply!Since arriving, Dill has met a canine friend and did wonderfully—loose tail wags, friendly sniffs, and yes… even more face licks. After greetings were complete, he treated everyone present to a delightful display of zoomies that showed off his fun and playful spirit. ????Now this sweet, precious 1-year-old is ready for a forever family who will be just as in awe of him as we are. He has so much love (and so many zoomies) to give!?? Meet Dill in person at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville.?? Adoption Fee: $80?? Meet & Greets EncouragedWe always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to help ensure the best fit for everyone involved.?? Remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet:• 3 Days to decompress• 3 Weeks to learn the routine• 3 Months to fully settle in and feel at homePatience, love, and consistency make all the difference.??
