Story
Violet is a love bug to her people but cautious of others until trust is built. She takes her role as her family's protector very seriously. She is thought to be a German Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix. She was born July 25, 2023, weighs 53 pounds, is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, HW negative and on preventative. She sleeps all night in her crate and is house trained.  Due to Violet's rough start in life she will need a family with patience, allowing her to bond in her own time by giving her love, positive reinforcement and remembering that it's a journey not a race. Once she gains your trust she's likely to cuddle like a baby with her people, play with her chew toys and will love going on walks. Her ideal home is one where the mom or dad work from home or part time and has a doggie friend to play with. She does okay with respectful cats, but does try to herd anything that moves faster than a walk whether it is other dogs, cats or humans both young and old. She sees any type of fowl as a chew toy so we recommend a home without pet birds or chickens. A fenced yard and vet reference are required. Meet MANGO! This sweet girl is a genuine love bug. Her wrinkles are the cutest and she has no control over her wiggle butt. She's just so happy to meet you! Mango is a typical puppy that plays with gusto then naps hard...anywhere! Mango is house and crate trained, knows the sit command and working on her manners. She plays well with the other dog in her foster home but hasn't been exposed to small children or cats. But if they are respectful we think they will get along fine. She loves to cuddle, is playful and oh so sweet. Mango is four months old, is up to date on her vaccinations and microchipped. She will be spayed when 6 months old and that cost is included in her adoption fee (if brought to our vet in Terrell). Please remember that puppies need a lot of time, patience, positive reinforcement, training and love. Story
Watson was born July 1, 2024 to an abandoned dog. Best guess on his breed is Shepherd, Lab, Pittie, and SuperMutt! We've included a pic of his momma who is a black Shepherd. He's a handsome hunk who loves to flirt! He can be a little shy at first but has the sweetest temperament and warms up quickly. He loves playing with other dogs his size (not sure about the little ones) and loves zoomies! Although he would love a playmate, Watson would be fine as your only dog getting all of your love and attention and would do well in a home with respectful children and cats. Watson has had some obedience training, walks great on a leash and knows the basic commands. He is crate and house trained too! Because he is still young and would benefit from consistency and structure having an adult who is home more than away would be best. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, HW negative and on flea & HW preventatives. We adopt in the DFW area only (within an hour's drive from Terrell) as we deliver our pets to their new homes., A fenced yard and vet reference are required.
