Story
We adopted Laika and her sister Sookie, who is also listed about 2 years ago. The sisters had thier territory issues, but all in all are very loving. We list about the unknown as far as getting along with other dogs due to being a bit territorial. We are in need of rehoming due to our newborn and the dogs jealousy makes us afraid. They are loving and sweet. Very good with our cat that helped raise them. It saddens us to rehome, but we have found this necessary.

Meet Chevy! Chevy is the most handsome 8 year old pup you will ever lay your eyes on! And he’s got the brains and personality to match! Which to be honest doesn’t always happen haha. He was surrendered by his family to the shelter with his brother. His brother was adopted but Chevy found himself left behind and set to be euthanized for space. When we saw he only had a few hours left we busted him out and I’m so glad we did. Chevy is going to make a family so incredibly happy one day. He is truly a unicorn dog. Going through our temperament evaluation there’s typically a few little things that come up…. Not with Chevy though. Every test we through his way he passed with flying colors. Truthfully it’s almost been a bit boring but he is certainly 100% good boy certified! -Good With Other Dogs. Has an “all out” play style. -Very Sweet and submissive with people. -House/Crate Trained -Leash/Obedience Work We Are Currently Working On. Definitely Had No Work Prior. -Demands belly rubs and he’s cute enough to where you will cave in and give them. -Lower drive GS -High Energy and social would be a great adventure buddy We do not ships dog out of state. All adopters must travel to Dallas to meet their potential animal in person before moving forward with an adoption trial run.

This is Taz.....The spunky one of the crew! If you have been looking for a running partner...a bestie that will go on adventures with you, look no more! Tax is your man! He is incredibly smart and is already learning commands! As go go go has he is, he loves to be held like a baby and a lapdog at the most perfect times. Taz was found on the side of the road with his siblings in a rural area. They were left there to fend for themselves. These babies deserve to know what a really family looks like! Hi! I'm Archie! I'm an approximately 5 year old, male, German Shepherd mix. I was found off Ridge Road near Goodwill on 11/05/2025 with a friend but sadly never reclaimed. I cannot WAIT to start the next chapter of my life in a loving home. I am a shy guy but love to be loved. I enjoy the company of my humans and appear to get along well with female dogs. I have not yet met kids or cats so that would be a new adventure for me. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along! I appear to be house and crate trained, though patience and keeping me on a schedule are necessary to make sure I adapt well to my new home. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, and current on core annual boosters. I did test heartworm positive, but treatment is covered thanks to Rockwall PAWS!
