Story
Bubba is a 7 year old (estimated) German Shepherd/husky mix. I adopted him from a rescue back in 2023 and loved him ever since. Bubba is very calm and loving. Most of the day when I am home, he lays by my side and plays with his toys. He also loves to spend time in the back yard just resting on the grass. Bubba gets along well with mild-energy dogs and great with other people. He loves being scratched by everyone when I take him to family events! Since Bubba came from a rescue, he does have some anxiety issues, which is making it difficult for me to take him with me when I move soon. He is on anxiety medication, but other than that he is a normal dog. The best home for Bubba would be a home with someone that is there quite often like a stay at home parent, someone who works remotely, etc.

Story
Lorelai’s journey didn’t start kindly. She was found tied to a tree before being brought to the shelter, where the noise and chaos were overwhelming for her. Lorelai spent weeks struggling in that environment—until ManyPaws stepped in and placed her with an incredible foster who gave her the space and safety she needed to heal. Once Lorelai feels secure, she’s an absolute gem. She’s affectionate, intuitive, and beautifully balanced, the kind of dog who’s just as happy curled up on the couch as she is racing around the yard showing off her zoomie speed. She’s independent but deeply loyal, forming strong bonds with the people she trusts. Lorelai can be cautious with new people and dogs at first, but patience and calm introductions make all the difference. In foster care, she’s learned that not every stranger is scary, not every dog is a threat, and that the world can be a good, joyful place. With thoughtful guidance, she blossoms into a sweet, devoted companion. Inside the home, Lorelai truly shines. She’s quiet, clean, and respectful of routines. She sleeps peacefully in her crate all night, entertains herself with toys or bones during the day, and causes no chaos, just calm, steady companionship. She loves lounging just as much as she loves running, making her an easy and enjoyable dog to live with. Lorelai has worked hard in training and continues to build her confidence. She walks nicely on leash, eats comfortably alongside her foster brother, and proudly shows off her Sit and Shake skills once she warms up. She’s thriving with structure, consistency, and connection, and the rescue will continue covering her training after adoption. Lorelai isn’t for the average pet owner, but for the right person, she’s everything. She’s looking for someone who understands that leadership is about trust, patience, and partnership. In return, she’ll be a fiercely loyal friend who sticks by your side through it all. If you’re looking for more than a dog—if you’re looking for a true companion—Lorelai might just be your perfect match 🐾💛 EMBARK BREED RESULTS: American Pit Bull Terrier: 33% Labrador Retriever: 31% Australian Shepherd: 12% Boxer:11% Golden Retriever: 7% German Shepherd: 4%
