She has clearly spent much of her life being bred, and while that history is part of her story, it does not define the sweet and affectionate dog she is today. Hilary is incredibly loving and bonds quickly with her people. She seeks out affection, enjoys being close, and has a soft and tender nature that makes her deeply endearing. She is crate trained and settles nicely, showing that she already has a wonderful foundation for life in a home. Because Hilary is still learning to remain calm and gentle during moments of excitement, she would do best in a home without small children. She is making great progress and will thrive with a patient family who can continue helping her build confidence and refine her manners. Hilary has so much love to give and is simply waiting for a home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and be cherished. This adorable little puppy is incredibly affectionate and happiest when she is curled up in someone’s arms or nestled beside a cozy companion. If you are looking for a puppy who truly loves to snuggle, Penelope is sure to steal your heart. Like any happy young pup, Penelope enjoys playtime and has a gentle and friendly nature with other dogs. She loves romping around with her puppy friends and then curling up with them for a well earned nap. Her favorite toys are squeaky plush ones which she happily carries, tosses, and cuddles. Penelope has proven to be a very polite little houseguest. She is not destructive and shows a naturally easygoing temperament.
