Story
Beso is the kind of dog who melts into your life as if she’s always been there. Her name means “kiss” in Spanish, and it fits her perfectly, because once she decides you’re her person, she’ll be glued to your side, soaking up every snuggle and belly rub you’ll give her. We believe Beso is a pittie mix of some sort around 2 years old and weighs approximately 56 pounds. She has this gorgeous chocolate coat that actually gets lighter in the winter! Due to her being a rescue, age and breed are our best guesses and cannot be guaranteed. Check out Beso here: https://youtu.be/0jGl4oNCans Right now, she’s living with ten other dogs in her foster home, and she’s shown she can thrive in a lively, social setting. She adores playing outside with her doggy friends, especially the puppies. Wrestling, playing tag, and trading bones in a lighthearted game of “keep away.” She’s also cat-tolerant; when she met Biggy the house cat, she was interested but respectful, happy to coexist without fuss. Beso has a wonderfully adaptable personality once she has settled in with her people. She can keep pace with an active household, joining you on outings, exploring new places, and enjoying car rides with her nose pressed to the breeze. But she’s just as content curling up for a lazy afternoon on the couch, enjoying quiet company. Her zoomies are a sight to behold, she tucks her back legs so far under herself it almost looks like she’s running only on her front paws, bounding around the yard in pure joy! We believe that she would do well in a home or an active apartment lifestyle. She has her own quirky hobbies too. Beso loves carrying around small to medium stuffed animals, especially ones that happen to match her coloring. She proudly takes them outside with her, although she hasn’t quite mastered bringing them back in (yet). Her favorite toy of the moment is a Kong Snuzzle reindeer, a treasure so beloved her foster has been trying to find more! Beso’s affection for people shines through in the sweetest ways. We believe she will be great with dog-savvy kids. If there is a certain age you are curious about how she behaves around, let us know and we would be happy to find out! She might start off slightly reserved with new faces, but she’s friendly from the start and warms up quickly. She’s shown this to be true at her foster home, where her cautious side fades and her love of companionship takes over. Whether she’s chasing around the yard, splashing in the baby pool, playing tag, or curling into your side for an evening snuggle, Beso’s joy is contagious. She’s looking for a home where she can be part of the family, whether that’s an active crew or a more laid-back lifestyle, with room to run or regular outings to keep her happy. Above all, she’s ready to bring her playful spirit, her sweet nature, and her big, loyal heart to someone lucky enough to call her their own. Does Beso sound like your girl? Story
Zelda is such a cutie girl! Yes, she really does look like she has on a little tuxedo, or maybe some little white socks! This girl is so sweet and friendly. She loves all people, she did well with a cat, and she enjoyed playing ball in the yard with other pups. Ball is her FAVORITE game! She loves to play fetch, but she’s still learning how to bring it back to you. She carries the ball around like a little baby with a pacifier— it’s just too cute to handle! Are you ready to meet your new partner in crime? Watch her here: https://youtu.be/1sj9S5ohoQU?si=VvB8F0YViLZp-hVA Zelda is still living her best care free puppy life, and will need a family with time to teach her new tricks! Right now in her foster home with her sister, she is currently working on her basic commands. Zelda is already so smart, we know that training will be fun for her (and you!) Zelda comes from a part of the U.S. where puppies are regularly euthanized, so adopting this puppy will help us save another in her place. Zelda is a little slow to open up to doggy friends initially, but trust me, it doesnt take her very long! She will be showing you her goofy side quickly. Especially if you have a fun bouncy tennis ball! Zelda simply just doesnt like to be rushed when meeting doggies she doesnt know, and we cant blame her! You can tell that she wanted to play with the other dogs, but she just wasnt sure how to yet. One thing about Zelda is that she loves toys! Sometimes we'll even catch her stealing a toy from other dogs. If Zelda is to be adopted out with other dogs, it would be best for her to be adopted out with another dog that doesn't really care much for toys-- and for toy time to be supervised so everyone can enjoy the toys. We think Zelda would definitely benefit from having a doggy sibling in the home to help her build some confidence. Zelda got to meet a kitty here at the rescue, and she did wondefully! She didnt really care for him at all, and if you have kitties at home, you know thats what we want! Although we have not seen Zelda with kids yet, with her size and calm energy, we think Zelda would enjoy the company of older kids. We are happy to test her with anything you may need. Apply for Zelda here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67fe7288d635a35951096287 Questions? **Fostered in Kirkland, WA and ready for meet and greets** Meet Otto — the compact gentleman with a heart full of sunshine! Estimated to be around 6 years old, Otto is a black-and-white pittie/staffy mix who’s the perfect blend of easygoing, joyful, and downright lovable. At just 52 lbs, he’s a great medium-sized companion who fits perfectly into almost any home. Otto is a dream on leash and loves his walks—being outside is his happy place. He’s a curious boy who enjoys watching whatever his human is up to, always with that soft, thoughtful look on his face. Training time? That’s his moment to shine. Otto lights up when asked to show what he knows or learn something new, offers impressive focus, and takes his treats with the gentlest little nibble. Looking for a work-from-home buddy? Otto has you covered. He’s an excellent mix of independence and companionship—able to entertain himself when you’re busy and ready to lend an oversized ear when you need a break. He’s great with other dogs, especially calm personalities like his own. He’d love a chill companion to sunbathe or snooze beside, but he’s just as content soaking up life as an only dog. No cats for this guy, though. Otto has been kid-tested and passed with flying colors. Whether it’s kids stomping around pretending to be dinosaurs or a baby fussing nearby, he stays gentle, relaxed, and unbothered. His ideal home would have a yard where he can stretch his legs or settle in for his favorite activity—sunbathing. And if you find him rolled onto his back with a goofy grin… that’s your cue. Belly rub required. Otto’s foster family has adored spoiling him, and he’s settled in beautifully. Now he’s ready to bring that same gentle joy, curiosity, and companionship to his forever home. Otto is ready to meet his person—could it be you? Message kathleen@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Story
Atari is the lover of all people, if he could be cuddled up, taking a nap all day with his humans he would be. He is a sweet lover boy and a total goofball. Atari is such a good boy he loved to get pet and cuddled with the whole time we spent with him. Atari is currently in a foster home with five other dogs and an amazing Foster who he loves so much. They cuddle up together and take naps all the time it’s Atari’s favorite thing to do. He also loves to play with toys. It’s when you really see the goof in him come out. Check out Attari’s video to see his goofy side https://youtu.be/Z_vJOzEkIF4?si=dPu4hfC1GKORkc3a Atari is a pitbull mix, around four years old, and 53 pounds. He is so handsome and loves to sleep curled up in a ball. It is adorable. Atari met a couple of our dogs today and did amazing meeting all of them. He didn’t play too much except for one of our very hyper male dogs. They played for a little and ran together. It was so adorable. He does play with his foster siblings and loves having fun rolling around with other dogs. Atari is really more of a people person, when all the other dogs were playing he was standing next to us waiting for pets or exploring the yard sniffing around. Atari would do great in a home with other dogs or by himself because he would so love to have all the cuddles to himself. Atari should not live in a home with cats. He finds them way too interesting and gets super excited meeting them, which is a little too much for cats. Atari has not yet been kid tested, but we do believe he would do great around kids. He does jump a quite bit, so preferably older kids that can stand their own ground. Atari is such a fun lover boy and is waiting for the perfect home. He could bring so much laughter, light and joy into a home. He just needs a chance. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
NOW FOSTERED IN Topsham, ME Love a dog with personality? A big-hearted, ball-chasing, couch-cuddling, zoomie-having goofball who thinks she’s a lap dog? Meet Cupcake - a sweet name for a girl with an appetite for fun. Cupcake is that lovable friend who always brings the sunshine to the party. One of my favorite things about her is the way she plays with a tennis ball! She’ll toss a tennis ball around like some kind of circus act, catch it in the air, then promptly hop up on the couch and roll around with her ball. If you happen to be sitting there then even better, she is going to melt into your lap, with the full weight of a 53-pound cuddlebug, all while still while holding that ball in her mouth. Affectionate doesn’t even begin to cover it. She’ll lean in for pets, climb into your lap on the couch, and gently nudge your hand just to say “Hey! You. I love you.” Take a look at her video, you'll see what we mean. https://youtu.be/MEiYn6r0_Dg Still in her teenage dog years, Cupcake is learning the ropes of balancing her fun-loving side with the polite life. She has been trained on a gentle leader leash, which she walks well with. Without a gentle leader she does pull but this can be addressed with practice or continuing to utilize the gentle leader. Cupcake can let her excitement show while on leash when passing dogs and people, but it’s all out of excitement, not aggression. She just wants to meet everybody, and she hasn’t quite learned how to channel that enthusiasm yet. Yet is the key word! Cupcake is super dog-friendly and loves to play, especially with dogs who match her energy. She greets with full-body wiggles but she can read when a dog is not interested in playing and backs off. One of her best friends is a dog named Bambi, a petite, long legged little lady, and the two of them roll around like a couple of happy toddlers in the backyard. She responds well to gentle corrections and is eager to please her humans. So yes to dogs but it’ll be no cats in the home for Cupcake. We anticipate her love of chase would not stop with cats once she feels comfortable. She would make a wonderful family dog, older kids who won’t mind her bouncy greetings and occasional nudges and mouthy “hello’s.” Cupcake has been fully kid tested, even spending a weekend with some kiddos! She loved everyone in the house, but you could always find her with the kiddos. She’s just a natural! The kids loves cupcake too, playing with her, sharing the same seat with her, watching movies together, sharing snacks— you name it, they had a blast doing it. A house with a yard would be the best fit for her ball-chasing and bouncing around with her new doggie friend or racing the kids. For the right family, she’ll be everything you want in a dog: loyal, loving, entertaining, and always up for a snuggle. This girl is a gem and she is ready and waiting to be yours! Questions? Story
Diesel here, reporting for duty as your loyal shadow, fetch partner, slightly over-sized lap-dog, and the reason fore everyday laughs. Now Diesel’s name might give you visions of some high-octane, need-for-speed boy but please know that he is far from it. This Diesel has mini-zoomies, is toy-tossing, and is a people-loving pittie mix who’s always ready to spread his contagious happiness. We cannot guarantee it given he is a rescue but we believe Diesel is about 1.5 years old and he weighs 42 pounds, really a perfect medium, to-go size boy. Take a look then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/iVVpWAkEMlY My favorite thing about Diesel is the way he plays with toys! I don’t think there is a toy he doesn’t like. Whether its a stuffy or a bouncy ball, we is going to light up, bounce around, ask if you want to play fetch and then go throw the toy for himself. Right after that he will run to the toy basket, pick out another toy and start the cycle all over again. He is quiet and mindful of the space but it is still hard not to stop what you are doing just to watch him be so cute and happy. Simply, he is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection. Diesel is young and active, and we believe he would be happiest in a home with a yard where he can zoom, toss toys in the air, and play fetch until his heart’s content. With an active life including regular adventures and play sessions, he could be an apartment boy but a home with a yard would be best. On leash, Diesel has great basic leash skills and shines when walking in an area without distraction, keeping an easy, steady pace is steady and showing great manners meeting new people. Diesels foster shared that when passing other dogs, he can get excited and occasionally bark. We did not see that during our afternoon with him but he was so receptive to gentle corrections and boundaries that we feel confident he will learn quickly once it is established what is expected. He’s social, outgoing, and adores people-he’ll happily climb into your lap for cuddles after a good play session. Diesel is dog-friendly and has a bouncy play style and can easily match a “rough and rowdy” player. He will thrive with a confident, playful female dog who can match his energy and handle his bouncy style. A more submissive dog could feel overwhelmed by his friendly and playful approach so we are looking for the right canine sibling fit but he could easily your one-and-only. Cats, however, Diesel would love to play chase with them so no feline friends in the home for him. Diesel is fostered in a loving home where he is learning and practicing all the best house manners. His foster shared that he is both crate and house-trained, and settles down nicely overnight, with only occasional moments of whining before relaxing for the evening. He’s full of enthusiasm, loves dinnertime, and will keep you smiling with his goofy, floppy ears and toy-flinging antics. Diesel is still young so he will need an adopter that is active and can give him on-going training, structure, playtime, and all the love he craves. In return, you are going to get an adoring, happy-go-lucky boy to welcome you home each day. Ready to welcome Diesel into your life?
Story
If you're looking for a best friend with the absolute best smile and a sugary sweet affectionate soul, meet Tango the kissy Dancer. This boy is the full package: loyal, playful, soooo loving, and a total goofball with the pittie head that’ll make you fall in love at first sight! We believe Tango is a Boxer/Pittie mix around 9 months old and weighs approximately 45 pounds. He has the perfect little compact body and the most handsome face ever. Due to him being a rescue, age and breed are our best guess and cannot be guaranteed. Check out Tango here: https://youtu.be/CS4K0UqmYSs Tango has never met a stranger. He’s the kind of dog who walks into a room and instantly makes everyone feel like they’ve been best friends for years. And if you’ve got treats? Well, buckle up, because you’ve just become the center of his universe. He was not shy giving everyone at the property his undivided attention for a quick round of kisses and puppy tail wags. Treats are the way to this boy’s heart, and he’ll show his appreciation with his signature toothy grin and the happiest tail wag you’ve ever seen. His love for people runs deep. His foster says her favorite thing about him is how he’ll climb into her lap and just gaze at her like she’s the most important person in the world. He is cuddly beyond belief and would absolutely thrive in a home where he can curl up next to you, soaking in all the love you have to give. Tango has lived harmoniously with a full dog squad, four pups in total, and he's been the life of the party. Whether it’s his dominant older foster sister, his high-energy lab buddy, or two playful 1.5-year-old boys. He knows how to read the room and match energy. He plays respectfully, knows when to follow the rules, and can roughhouse with the best of them. He also attends a daycare where he mingles like a pro with a group of 20-30 dogs. His best friends there? A Doberman and another pittie. He really shines around dogs his size or playful puppies who love a good game of chase. He would thrive in a home with another medium energy dog to spend his days with. After a bit of play, Tango knows how to settle down. One of our favorite moments with him was after the crowd cleared and he just hung out with us in a quiet room, relaxed and content, soaking up some one-on-one time. He’ll make a great adventure buddy followed by an evening relaxing on the couch. He walks beautifully on leash and would be the kind of dog you take to the park, patio, or trail and know he’ll be right by your side, smiling the whole way. At home, he’s crate trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. He would do best in a home with a yard to run off his zoomies, and we can easily see him thriving with older, dog-savvy kids who’ll love him as much as he loves them. If there is a certain age that you are curious to know how Tango interacts with, let us know. We will be happy to find out. We want to make sure he is perfect for your family! Cats, however, are not his cup of tea. He’s all about the people and the pups. He doesn’t need much to be happy, just a little space to play, a lap to lean into, and someone to share his big heart with. Tango is the definition of man’s best friend, but really, he’s everyone’s best friend. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving, treat-motivated cuddle machine with the biggest heart and a head you’ll want to smooch daily, Tango the kissy Dancer is ready to two-step his way right into your life. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Ever met a living, snorting, walking cartoon? That’s West Lee. He’s a professional back-talker, four legged tornado of joy, chaos, and pure Wreck-It Ralph energy. Absolutely no concept of personal space or consequences, built like a tonka truck, and he’s all about that mouthy, goofy, relentless affection. Basically, West Lee is a 60 lb toddler full of personality stuffed into a wrinkle suit. If you’re a bulldog lover, then you definitely know the type. If anything of this intrigues you, keep reading and watch his video below. You’ll either be insanely entertained or better yet, you’ll be wanting to bring this adorable menace home: https://youtu.be/NhKfqZn0o08?si=Bcr7wm3lZ8SCapUj Mr. West Lee is estimated to be around two-years-old and is a bulldog mix weighing in at 60 lbs. With rescues we cannot guarantee age or breed given we do not know their past. This guy has the looks of a bulldog and he certainly has the personality to go along with it. West Lee is a classic bulldog through and through- built like a solid brick, handsome as all-get-out, a little stubborn because he can be, and considers himself to be a “foodie.” He can smell food from a mile away too. How he does that with all those wrinkles, we have no idea but he does. He’s a mild-mannered sweetheart until a crinkle bag announces the hunger games. West Lee would probably even sell me for a chicken nugget and not feel bad about it if he could. So safe to say that once food is involved, all loyalty is up for negotiation. West Lee is a bowling ball powered by Wreck-it-Ralph energy and has a sour patch kid personality. First he’s chaos, then he cuddles. Fair warning though, most cuddles with West Lee do end up with you covered in slobber, hair, and him very heavily breathing on you with his hot breath LOL. You gotta be someone that likes that type of affection. He stomps, snorts, and accidentally (debatable) redecorates your living room, so best of luck to your pillows. Consider him equal parts demolition crew and sugar-coated sweet heart. He is not for the faint of heart or the faint of food hoarder LOL. He will get those snackies. He is somewhat energetic for a bulldog mix but it makes for a good balance of goofy-boy with couch-potato tendencies. True to his bulldog nature, he’s better suited for short walks or backyard playtime rather than long-distance strolls anyway. A securely fenced yard would be ideal since he’s a curious explorer who likes to keep tabs on what’s happening outside. Are you someone that works from home? He’ll be great but hopefully you have extra paper copies of anything important, have toys out for him to play with, and aren’t going to be bothered by his hot heavy breathing. Sweet boy just can’t help it but be noisey. Even with toys, he loves the squeaky toys and likes to conduct his very own squeak symphony with all his favorite toys. It’s quite comical. West Lee is ready and waiting to find his perfect match: a family or person who appreciates his bulldog quirks and gives him the structure and security to thrive. In return for that (and a few treats) you will get a loyal, strikingly handsome companion who will keep life entertaining and people asking “Where did you get him? He is gorgeous!” Ready to add this speckle-nosed charmer to your life? Apply today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/689a60c240bf23fc020254ff Questions? Chaos, charm, and one perfect ear. That’s Vinne Van Gogh. He’s a four legged wonder who snores louder than your uncle after Thanksgiving, barrels into a room like a tiny wrecking ball, his heavy hot breathing announces his arrival every single time, and somehow he balances all that chaos with sweet side that makes him impossible not to adore. A master piece that only someone who can giggle through the snorts, snores, and bulldog mischief could love. If anything of this intrigues you, keep reading and watch his video below. You’ll either be insanely entertained or better yet, you’ll be wanting to bring this adorable menace home: https://youtu.be/nqMT9iehZ1Q?si=3xkexP-KCBfrfqII Vinnie Van Gogh is estimated to be around two-years-old and is a bulldog mix weighing in at 54 lbs. With rescues we cannot guarantee age or breed given we do not know their past. This guy has the looks of a bulldog and he certainly has the personality to go along with it. Vinnie is a classic bulldog through and through- built like a solid brick house, handsome as all-get-out, a little stubborn because he can be, and considers himself to be the greatest work of art since…well, anything. Picasso could never create something this legendary. Being the legend he is and his main character energy, Vinnie prefers a one dog household where the spotlight stays exactly where it belongs. On him and him alone. Just the way he likes it! Vinnie is a bowling ball powered by Wreck-it-Ralph energy and has a sour patch kid personality. First he’s chaos, then he cuddles. He’ll be great but hopefully you aren’t someone that is easily distracted by noises because Vinnie literally snores like a grown man and aren’t going to be bothered by his hot heavy breathing. Sweet boy just can’t help it but be noisey. On the brightside, you’ll never not know where he is because you will always hear him regardless of what he’s doing. Even when he’s sleeping LOL. With toys, he loves the squeaky toys and likes to conduct his very own squeak symphony with all his favorite toys. It’s quite comical. He also loves toys that he can turn into his own personal pacifier…We know, he’s a little weirdo and it just adds to his inner belief that he’s a toddler in a wrinkle suit. Vinnie is ready and waiting to find his perfect match: a family or person who appreciates his bulldog quirks and gives him the structure and security to thrive.
