Story
Meet Clementine! This sweet and loving girl is ready to find her forever home! Clementine is a true Velcro dog—she adores her people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or heading out for a walk, Clementine is always up for quality time with her favorite humans. Clementine is an active pup who thrives on exercise and play. She loves long walks, exploring the outdoors, and engaging in fun activities that help her burn off energy and stay mentally stimulated. She’s started training and is doing great, learning new things every day with the help of positive reinforcement and structure. She’s looking for a home where she can be your one and only pet. She also does best in an adult-only home where she can have a calm, consistent environment to continue building confidence and routine. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s always down for an adventure (and a cuddle afterward), Clementine may be your perfect match. She’s got so much love to give and just needs the right home to help her shine. Apply to meet Clementine today—she can’t wait to love you! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SCGM/Dog

Story
Wally was abandoned in an apartment building in Oklahoma City, where he was found alone and in need of help. Thankfully, he was rescued from the OKC shelter and brought to Milwaukee by a kind-hearted local, all in hopes of finding him the forever home he truly deserves. Wally is a happy, playful, and affectionate boy. According to his DNA he is an American Bully, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Bulldog and Boxer mix and is about 4 ½ years old. He absolutely loves going for walks, playing tug-of-war, chasing after balls, splashing in water, and snuggling up for belly rubs and cuddles. This sweet pup is potty trained, crate trained, knows his name, and responds to basic commands like "sit" and "down." He’s polite with treats, rarely barks, and gets along well with other dogs. However, he’s not a fit for a home with cats. Wally is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to bring joy and love into a new home . If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and playful spirit, Wally would love to meet you!

Story
Violet is an incredible dog with a huge heart. She adores her people and will happily cover you in kisses, wiggles, and snuggles. She's goofy, joyful, and guaranteed to make you laugh. She's medium-to-low energy and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch under blankets (which she happily nibbles when she's extra content). Her dramatic dreams, pig snorts, and legendary snores are part of her charm. She's smart, treat-motivated, and loves training games. We use force-free training with the marker word "good." She knows sit, stay, come, wait, leave it, and "take it nice," and continues to enjoy learning new skills. Violet's ideal home includes a comfy couch, lots of blankets, durable chew toys, and people with plenty of time for cuddles. She'd do best with adults or older children and an owner who understands or is willing to learn about reactive dogs and positive reinforcement. She could thrive as an only dog or with a calm, low- to medium-energy canine companion after slow introductions. She loves kids but, because she's unaware of her size, small children should be supervised. Violet was adopted from the Humane Society as a puppy and later found as a stray. She was initially shy with new people but now bonds quickly with slow introductions and treats. Once she trusts you, she's your best friend. The only reason I'm rehoming her is that her prey drive has developed toward my cat. She cannot live with cats or other small animals, and I'm making this heartbreaking decision because both she and my cat deserve to feel safe. Violet enjoys quiet neighborhood sniff walks. She is reactive to unfamiliar dogs and sometimes people on walks or through windows, but she has graduated from a reactive dog class and has made tremendous progress. I'll gladly share the training tools that have worked well for her. She's spayed, up to date on vaccinations, loves the vet, and is ready for a family who will love her as much as I do. If you think you might be the right fit, we'd love to meet you.
