Story
Stevie the mixed breed puppy's Story
Stevie is a 2-month-old female puppy who had a uniquely safe and loving start to life. Her mom, Mrs. Potts — a pit/Labrador mix — was brought into a Texas shelter while pregnant. A local veterinarian generously stepped in and took her into their facility so she could safely whelp and raise her puppies in a warm, controlled environment. Because of that kindness, Stevie and her siblings were able to begin life surrounded by care and human compassion.
Stevie is now ready to start her own journey toward a forever home. Like her sister, she has been well cared for since birth and is a typical young puppy — curious, sweet, and still learning about the world around her. Stevie will thrive with a family prepared for puppy training, socialization, and the time commitment that comes with raising a young dog. In return, she’ll grow into a loving, loyal companion and a wonderful addition to the right home.
She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs.
She is working on her potty training in Texas, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI as she is just a young puppy.
She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.
She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, February 6th, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below.
Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday February 6th. If upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable.
We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding her forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog.
