Oh hey hi! They call me Peanut, and I am here to be your best friend, your bestest best friend! I'm told I should play it cool and not be so excited to see you, BUT I'M JUST SO HAPPY TO BE HERE AND SEE YOU!! And that is all you need to know about Peanut! Ha! If you're into being with the life of the party, this is your guy! He doesn't know what a stranger is, loves dogs (sometimes too much, but he's working on it), and was neutral with the cat he met. Because of his zest for life, we would like him to go to a home with kids over 10. This giant goofball has loved training. He's so smart and wants to learn everything! While in foster, he has taken life skills classes, agility training, obedience training, and fitness classes! He would love a family who loves learning and prioritizes education. He'd be an excellent hiking companion or perhaps a running buddy. A 5k would be a walk in the park for this athletic dude! When you are home, get ready for some cuddles! He is the best blanket on the market. Peanut is a 1.5 year old 52lb bundle of fun! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to move in and do all of the things! He is trustworthy free roaming when you're not home. Adopt Peanut and get ready to have all the fun! ❤️

Story
"Act your age! Don't you know you're a senior?!" or "You can't teach an old dog new tricks." Lily wholeheartedly disagrees with both sentences. If you also think age is just a number, let us tell you about the best girl in town. Lily is a 7 year old, 75# pitbull mix. While on paper, that may make her a senior, spend a little time with Lily, and you'll agree she is NOT a senior. Lily is potty trained, doesn't need to be crated, and walks like she's been doing it her whole life. Training is her favorite. She loves learning new things, especially when you have the *good* treats out. Canine fitness, agility, scentwork, hiking.. you name it, she's done it and would do it again. After raising multiple litters, Lily is done having babies (she's spayed) and doesn't want to live with any young rambuctious dogs. She would probably love having a respectful dog friend, or a tiny dog and would definitely love having some human children to love. Snuggles mixed with adventures is the key to Lily's heart. And snacks, she looooooooves snacks. Come fly in the face of aging with Lily, she's like Paul Rudd but a dog. Who knows, maybe she found the fountain of youth? Adopt Lily and ask her yourself.

Story
Willow is a very sweet, 6-year-old girl, loving to be petted and scratched in all the usual Pittie places. She enjoys walks, frequently stopping to “smell the roses”. Willow is very treat motivated and is a people person, including children of all ages. She greets those entering the home politely and does not jump on them. Willow does have anxiety issues which include loud noises (yelling), fireworks, high winds and thunder. Because her nervousness during these situations causes chaos with one of the other resident dogs, she would do best as an only dog in a peaceful environment. Willow is crate trained but is trusted to roam the house. She has no experience with cats. Does Willow sound like a good fit for your family?

Story
We hoped to give Milo a good home almost 6 months ago. We heard his mom had him in his kennel often as she had smaller kids (he was rapidly growing), and she went back to college. The “Grandpa” then took him, so Milo's history before our family is vague. We immediately had him neutered, vaccinated against rabies and microchipped. Milo is good with our female dog, has been around children, adult friends and other dogs and is fine most of the time. He is protective of the family and our other dog by sharing his big dog bark. Milo is not cat friendly AT ALL which is the reason we need to rehome him. Our 5-year-old cat hides out in the basement as a means of self-preservation. Apart from a fascination with flashing lights and his reflection, Milo is a big baby, enjoys snuggling and is submissive to his fur-sister. He feels soft toys are meant to be destroyed, so beware. Milo will pull on leash and we have been working on that. His previous owner didn’t leash him but seems to have a decent recall. He has come back and will lay down to be put back on his lead. We think Milo would thrive in a home with a person or family that has more training experience and can give him more one on one time, no cats and possibly no small dogs.

Story
S'mores are one of the best campfire snacks. The gooey marshmallow, melty chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers are the perfect trifecta in a dessert. But without the graham crackers it is amess. We can agree the graham crackers are vital to a good s'more. And that is true of our Graham cracker too! Graham is an excellent addition to any home and without him you are missing out! Graham found his way to Canine Cupids after three months at MADACC. Even after that time he has kept his happy, loving personality. Graham loves toys more than anything! He will carry a ball with him 24/7 if he could. Squeaky toys work too! He loves running around and playing keep away. But no stuffies are safe from Graham. He fancies himself a stuffie destroyer and promptly removes all the stuffing. Graham loves all humans and soaking up the cuddles. We do, however, recommend any children be 10 years of age or older because he thinks he is a lap dog: he will crawl right on top of your lap, sit down and stay there until he's gotten his fill. He hasn't found a human he doesn't like. This handsome boy is also good with other dogs. Graham has enjoyed strolls with other dogs and done amazing. He also has the softest fur of any dog! Graham enjoys sleeping all night long in his crate and is potty trained. He is currently learning that counter surfing isn't cool. His foster mom calls him a "distinguished gentleman". Don't miss out on this good boy any longer, apply to meet Graham today.

Story
Henry is a snuggly, cuddly, big sweetheart of a dog but is having a hard time getting along with our other dog. When we got him, introductions went well but as time went on much stress and anxiety developed. After working for several months to create a more harmonious environment, it was determined Henry will do best as an only dog. Henry is crate and potty trained. We are currently working on walking nicely on a leash. He is very food motivated and has shown no aggression towards humans. Henry does not have any experience with children. He is a strong boy so for that reason he would probably do best with older kids. Henry is curious about cats so it would probably depend on the personality of the cat. Henry is a quiet dog and rarely barks. He loves to lay in your lap, chew on his favorite, benebones, and yes, he is a bed hog! Henry does well on long car rides and would make a good traveling companion. Does Henry sound like a good addition to your family?

Co-pilot Vinnie is here to help get you to the dog treats store! Have you ever been?! It's a wonderful place full of every treat you can imagine! He's happy to show you all his favorites. If you adopt Vinnie, you can buckle up for the best couch cuddles, the cutest snores (he's told it's only cute when dogs snore) and all the adventures! Please pack treats, he loves treats! Vinnie is a 6 year old, 77 pound pitty mix. He's potty trained, knows how to sit, down and crawl! Have you seen a large dog crawl? It's adorable! He's working on walking politely but is a quick study and loves to learn! Vinnie would do best as an only dog, no cats either please. He'd do best in a home with kids ages 12+, he may know how old he is but he sure doesn't know how big he is. While he may prefer the only dog lifestyle, you'll be forever entertained by Vinny and his antics. What are you waiting for? Your greatest treat store adventure awaits!
