Story
Meet Tairn 🐾 Tairn is just over a year old and very much in his “young, joyful, full-of-life” stage. He’s energetic, playful, sweet-natured, and absolutely beautiful — the kind of dog that lights up a room the moment he walks in. He thrives on connection and attention and does best with someone who truly has the time and desire to engage with him daily. Whether it’s playtime, training, adventures, or just being near his person, Tairn wants to be part of everything. He’s affectionate, eager, and happiest when he feels included. Because of his age and energy level, Tairn would be a great fit for an active individual or family who enjoys working with a young dog and can give him the structure, stimulation, and love he deserves. With the right home, he has all the potential to grow into an incredible lifelong companion. This decision is being made with his best interests at heart. We’re looking for a home where Tairn won’t just be owned — he’ll be truly wanted, engaged, and loved.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ginger Spice! Are you ready to spice up your life with an adorable and energetic companion? Look no further than Ginger Spice, a delightful pup currently seeking her forever home in Sacramento! Ginger Spice's journey began in foster care, where she was born into a loving environment. While her exact breed mix remains a mystery, we suspect she's a blend of Pyrenees and Husky, though her smaller stature suggests otherwise. Regardless of her heritage, she is a true gem waiting to bring joy to your home. One of Ginger Spice's most endearing qualities is her exceptional animal socialization skills. She has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, making her a perfect fit for multi-pet households. Her friendly nature ensures that she'll get along swimmingly with furry friends of all shapes and sizes. Born on December 22nd, Spice is currently in a critical stage of development, making continued socialization a priority. Therefore, we're seeking a loving family who will dedicate themselves to providing her with ongoing socialization and training, ensuring she grows into a well-rounded and well-behaved canine companion. In addition to her vivacious personality, Ginger Spice is undeniably gorgeous. Her striking appearance, combined with her friendly demeanor and playful spirit, makes her utterly irresistible. Who could resist those puppy-dog eyes and that infectious grin? If you're ready to welcome a furry bundle of joy into your life, look no further than Spice. Whether you're going for a hike in the great outdoors or cuddling up on the couch for movie night, Spice will be right by your side, ready to fill your days with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Story
We have had cowboy for a little over a year. we got him from the SPCA at 2 years old with no known history besides roaming the streets. We have two cats and unfortunately he doesn’t get along with them. we’ve done group classes with him and he’s done well but once we get to the streets he is reactive again. overall though cowboy is house trained, listens well, SO SO SO fun to play with and is a great dog. His downfalls are his reactivity to dogs and cats but other then that he doesn’t poop or pee in the house, counter surf, chew on random things. he LOVES his crate and lays in it during the day and sleeps in it at night no problem. he acts like he’s independent but loves following you around.

Story
Kiara is a beautiful girl with a heart full of quiet love and a longing for a place to truly call home. She’s a sweet, sensitive girl who may be shy at first, but beneath that timid exterior is a deeply loyal companion just waiting to feel safe, understood, and loved. New places and unfamiliar faces can be a little overwhelming for Kiara, but she has a gentle way of reaching out, often bringing over her favorite toy as a sweet offering to those she’s learning to trust. It’s her way of saying, “I want to be your friend.”Kiara would likely do best in a calm, stable home with adults or older children ages 10+ who can give her the space and security she needs to settle in at her own pace. She was surrendered to us with her companion Kovu, and the two of them are very close. We recommend that the two are adopted together due to their long-lasting bond of friendship. Kiara may also do well with another mellow, respectful dog after a slow and thoughtful introduction. If you have a quiet heart and a soft spot for gentle souls, Kiara may be the perfect match. She’s not just looking for a home, she’s looking for someone who sees her, believes in her, and is ready to give her the second chance she deserves!Adoption Price: $150Adoption Fees Waived!
