Story
I just adopted this outstanding , beautiful , about as perfect a GS you could hope for. She just turned 7 on the 11th , but you would think she’s a 2 yr old. Excellent health . No hip issues. High energy . Very intelligent. Obedient . Eager to please. VERY LOVING! She is dog friendly , cat tolerant but I think a home with a large FENCED area and a dog close to her size (90lbs) as opposed to a small dog , would be best. She’s very playful and can be unintentionally rough with smaller dogs. Someone who can take her places and be active with her would make for a perfect companion. She’s been a little too rough with my Frenchie , steals his toys and thinks I’m her person and gets too possessive . Not mean. Not aggressive in a bad way but the size difference could be a situation waiting to happen . This is the reason I don’t think she’s going to work out in my situation. I’m amazed though at her qualities . She’s close to a 10 in GS standards. Seriously.

Story
This beautiful shepherd is a 68 pound spayed female approximately four years old. Ashlyn came to our rescue group as a foster from the Sacramento County Animal Shelter. She is current on all of her vaccines and is on heartworm preventative. Ashlyn is a very agile and active dog. She loved playing with her other foster male Shepherd until he got adopted and now she’s lonely and wants a playmate! She would do best with a large male dog that is able to handle her exuberant play style. Ashlyn is very playful and loves to chase balls and frisbees. And of course she loves her squeaky toys! She is also crate trained, housebroken, and good on a leash. Ashlyn requires a minimum 5 foot high solid fence. Ashlyn does have a high prey drive, so no small animals including dogs. She has also completed obedience I and II. Ashlyn is very smart and loves to please her human and also bonds very quickly to her human. She is also very protective of her home.
