Booboo is 5 yrs old and adopted at 9 months, fully house trained and very communicative when needing to go potty.- She is social yet introverted, she loves affection and play, but also just sniffing patches of grass on walks. She loves pets and lounging near you- she has attended the same doggy day care last 4 years and is loved by the staff and plays well with other dogs there. She was also easy to bring to work and says hi to everyone. She has stayed with a friend's family and played well with the young kids. Dog-selective outside of day care. Best as only pet or experienced owners-low maintenance, content with 3-4 walks and 1 day of dog daycare a week. She's content with that level of stimulation and lounges around the rest of the week.Care details: She usually uses sensitive/puppy soap. care needed to prevent getting her ear wet during baths to not have ear infection. She's accustomed to sleeping indoors, and should have covered kennel to wind down if sleeping outside

7yr old tan M/N shepherd mix Foster notes: Noble is a sensitive guy and he seems to be more comfortable around women than men for now.  He loves being near his person & follows me all day around the house.  He may resource guard his bed.  He bit my husband the first week we had him when he tried to pet him when he was on his bed.  I have since kept him apart from my husband and he has not shown any signs of aggression for a while and he has even wagged his tail at my husband.  I would still err on the side of caution with new people and men with his bed.  Any iffy situation I have him leashed and muzzled or on the other side of a baby gate.  When people come over or in crowded places I let him wear a comfortable muzzle.  It makes me more comfortable and it keeps him out of trouble.  He has walked in very crowded places in close quarters wearing a muzzle and has not shown any signs of aggression.  I feel that if there is any aggression it could be territorial or fearful aggression because I have only seen him do it at home.  I don’t know how he is around children but I think it would be a safer bet to say no kids.  He is potty trained.  He is good with other dogs with a proper introduction.  I have two pit bulls and a chihuahua and he hangs out with them all day long.  He is obsessed with playing fetch.  He will drop the ball in front of you while you are cooking dinner.  Once he thinks you are his person, you could not find a more loyal and loving campanion.  He has decompressed a lot in the short time he has lived with me and he will  be even better with time in a loving and patient home.  His ideal owner would be someone who is willing to take it slow with him and let him open up on his own terms, someone with a lot of dog experience, who is home a lot, a woman.  Also he came to me with itchy skin and I have been giving him fresh food and it has cleared everything up.  So a dream home would provide that for him too otherwise I think he might have allergies. Also Noble is very athletic.  If someone wants a jogging partner, he would be up for it. ##2632401##

BEST WAY TO INQIRE, CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG AL is a blk/tan M German Shepherd Al #A603725  Ball is lifeeeee!! Meet Al! He LOVES his ball. He trots around the yard with it. He chews on it. He entertains himself with it. He plays keep away with it! He wouldn’t trade it for the treats I offered him. Mind you, I brought the good stuff! Commanding him to release it didn’t work either. Spoil him with endless balls and you’ll win his heart! Al is a handsome, friendly, and aloof GSD with moderate-to-high energy. In his kennel, he is curious, engaging, and quiet. Easy to leash up and bring in and out of his kennel. Walks nicely on the leash, too. On the other hand, he does not like being leashed in the yard and can be a spaz, jumping around or trying to chew on it. He didn’t react to dogs when passing the kennels, but showed some barrier reactivity in the yard. Al has a great looking coat, which can be deceiving because when I was petting him, I could feel his spine and ribs! Poor guy needs a healthy diet to put on some weight. Dog tests: Al met a male dog face-to-face and immediately nipped him on the muzzle. We created some distance and re-tried intros. It went a bit better, but Al was a bit on edge. When a female was brought in, Al did much better. He had moments where he was vocal and aloof, yet had polite greetings. Strongly recommend slow intros. Shelter notes: High enerygy. Loves to run around the yard and was obsessed with a ball. Tested with both male and female dogs, see memos. Breed: German Shepherd Sex: Male, unaltered Weight: 62 pounds (underweight) Age: 4 years Not tested with cats ##2632355##
