Story
I'm Flopsy (half of the Flopsy and Mariah dynamic duo) and I am an affectionate, energetic, playful female German Shepherd.  I enjoy my toys, going on walks, while occasionally pulling on my leash when I see something exciting to me. However, when this happens, I am also learning to focus back to my person as I am eager to please.  Another way I enjoy spending my time is when I get to go for a car ride.  Older kids and large dogs I get along OK with. I like being vocal as it is my way of communicating, but this is usually just when I've just been introduced to someone or something.  I do very well with basic commands, and this can be a way of having fun with me, especially when treats are involved.  In addition to the above, you will find me to be social, affectionate, confident and a loving companion.  Flopsy is looking for an attentive owner who will appreciate her devoted nature and at this point in her life, she is ready and willing to steal your heart.  Will that be yours? I am tightly bonded with my sister, Mariah T.  We need to be adopted together into a home that wants double the love! ##2556012##

Story
Handsom T is an absolute sweetheart who is easy going and social. This friendly 8 year old male adores people and loves to smooch! He's interested, but courteous, around other dogs and should integrate well into a household with one or more large dogs.   His high energy and good mobility would make him a great hiking buddy. Since he's a big athletic guy, a strong handler is recommended for leash walks. Like many GSDs, Handsom loves food more than toys, and is an eager eater. He can be a bit grabby when taking treats, but is responding well to the ‘Gently’ command. He would be equally happy as the one and only with a single adopter or as part of a family with older respectful kids.  ##2638406##

Story
Lucky Penny T is a sweet, low enegy senior who loves people and enjoys gentle walks. At 10 yrs old, she still has good mobility and can handle a few stairs. Penny is calm on the leash and likes to give friendly barks to other dogs to say hello. Initially a stray, she arrived at the shelter underweight and in bad shape. She's currently battling an infected mammary tumor, and we're working hard to get her healthy enough for surgery. Penny gets three meals a day and happily eats every bite! She's gained 6 pounds so far! This girl's a fighter.  Lucky Penny will be ready for adoption after she has spay and mass removal surgery. We're taking early applications, so please let us know if you are interested. A quiet, peaceful home would suit her best. ##2643818##
