Sadie is a loyal ~2yo spayed 55 pound active small German Shepherd. She loves lots of affection, long walks and playing with her toys. She is a moderate energy dog, playful and active but also settles down nicely indoors by your feet. She is housetrained and sleeps in a crate.  She will need an active home that will keep her mentally and physically busy. She will chase cats that run. She needs proper intro to new dogs.   She is undersocialized and also needs continued training and structure. She needs continued socializing with other dogs and people (reactive in public). She would do best in a home with German Shepherd experience, as she can be insecure and also defensive/protective. She would do best with a single woman, or will need experienced handlers in a multi ADULT home (NO CHILDREN) who will be willing to commit to working on her socialization. NO APARTMENTS! Story
Due to ongoing, difficult family circumstances, I must make the very difficult decision to surrender my 2 bigger dogs that are going on 3 years old. The dogs are super loving, good with kids, enjoy walks, and deserving of a better home than my family can provide. Ideally I’d find one home for both of them but I know that’s really difficult. I adopted them from this Humane Society in Silicon Valley when they were 8-9 weeks old and am hoping you can re-home them. This post is about Bingo who is a German Shepard / Swiss Shepard mix according to a genetics test. He’s the larger of the two, FULL of energy, and a super happy goof ball. He loves to run around so would be best placed somewhere with a large backyard. My other dog is Coco who is a Siberian Husky mix and I'll create a separate posting for her.They are easily excitable and need proper exercise to avoid barking, jumping, etc.
