Story
HOOVER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!   Meet Hoover!!!  He is a handsome, loving boy. Hoover is around 2 years old and 60 lbs. He is a stunning Husky boy. Check out those eyes. Hoover LOVES being outside and playing with other dogs! He loves all the attention from humans and actually thinks he’s a lap dog. He is good with older kids, as he is a bigger boy with energy. Hoover is kennel trained,  house trained, and doggy door trained! He also walks well on a leash. Hoover is very food motivated and knows how to “sit” and we’re working on “shake!” He loves to go on car rides & get pup cups from Starbucks! There are so many good things I could say about this boy! He so deserves to find his forever home. He’s one of the best fosters I’ve ever had! He is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Hoover up north to his new family.     If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Hoover here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!             Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 6, 2024, 5:39 pm

Story
Ricky is about 4 months old and ready for a home to call his very own. He's very sweet and silly and will make a great addition to any loving home! Ricky Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Say hello to Boomer, a stunning two-year-old, 63 lb. husky/shepard mix with a luxurious long coat and gentle brown eyes. He was dumped this past November at a dead-end road in rural North Carolina after a man in the neighborhood threatened to shoot him for chasing his chickens. At the time, he was not vetted and heartworm positive so he’s now ready for adoption as he’s undergone treatment and has received everything he needs medically. He’s currently in a foster home in NC awaiting his freedom ride to CT upon approval of an application. Boomer is just the sweetest guy! He LOVES to be around people any chance he gets. As most huskies are, this beautiful boy is full of energy and will require an adopter willing to give him the exercise and enrichment he needs. Boomer is good with dogs and has done great with the children he has met since being in foster. We would not recommend a home with cats due to his high prey drive, which is a typical husky trait. He’s also quite the talker and will tell you when he wants something. Boomer loves his toys, runs, and going on adventures. He is house/crate trained and a very smart pup. You MUST have a fenced yard in order to adopt him and husky experience is highly preferred. His adoption fee is $400 and Boomer is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm treated. If you are interested in this gorgeous guy, please complete the application at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

This gorgeous girl is Harley. She is a 3-year-old Siberian husky mix and weighs 55 lbs. Harley is a sweet, playful and calm husky. She has a mellow demeanor that comes as a surprise due to her breed. Harley is friendly with strangers and is always looking to play with a new friend. She will make the perfect addition to any household! She is food motivated and eager to learn. Harley loves a good cuddle and will even flop right over in your lap for some pets. Harley would do great in a home with children of any age. She would love to have a dog friend to play with. We don't know what she thinks of cats but can "cat-test" her if needed. Harley is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, healthy and ready for adoption now! Her adoption fee is $395. If you would like to meet/adopt Harley, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions.

Story
This gorgeous boy is 1-year-old Rocky. He is a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix who comes to PAWS from a local animal control where he was picked up as a stray. Rocky is friendly and fun and loves to play. He has a lot of energy and can get overexcited when playing with other dogs, so he could use additional training to work on his manners. Due to his size and energy level, Rocky would do best in a home where there are no children under age 12. He is a big, furry lovebug who is still very puppyish but will be a great addition to an active family. Rocky is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.
