Story
Our family received Rona as a puppy when she was about 6 months old during the COVID 19 pandemic. We have had her in our family for about 3 and a half years, making her around 4 years of age. Rona is beautiful and full of energy. She loves to chew on her Kong toys and enjoys going for walks. She is a Giberian Shepsky and likes to pull but settles down after the first block. When she is inside, she enjoys belly rubs and snuggles, she loves the attention from anyone who will give it to her. Rona is great with children but has had little interaction with dogs since being a puppy and has never interacted with cats. She gets excited by the rabbits and squirrels in the back yard. She is a very lovable dog, but with the change in our family dynamic she is not receiving the attention and quality of life that we believe she deserves. If you are interested in learning more about Rona and getting to know her, please contact us. Price is negotiable.

Story
At 6 years old, she is a loyal and affectionate companion, particularly good with children, but notably protective. While she can acclimate to other dogs, her compatibility with cats remains uncertain. She is very protective, so it's best that you meet her at our property so we can give her a sense that all is well. We are eager to connect with families who can provide a nurturing environment for her. She deserves an active family. On a practical note, Camden enjoys walks two or three times daily and displays enthusiasm for more activity. She weighs 85 pounds and is vigilant and protective until assured of a person's safety. She is in great health and received all her shots in October. She has a manageable allergy that manifests as dry and itchy skin. We are actively treating with a prescription and working with her vet to move to an OTC option. As of 4/17/24, we are still looking for Camden a new home.

Story
We adoped Otis, our young gorgeous huskey mix whom we dearly love about a year ago when he was 6 months old. He is extremely sensitive about being touched around his neck. He has bitten several people who have inadvertently touched him in that place. We have tried different trainers, including a behavioral therapist and a boarding/training, who have helped, but who haven't been able to reach him permanently and it has not stopped his occasional reactionary bites. While Otis is often well-behaved, he may have a neurological problem that contributes to his unpredictability. My partner was recently diagnosed with cancer which has added a considerable amount of stress to our house, something that I am sure has impacted Otis as well. We have now made the heartbreaking decision to rehome Otis. ONLY experienced dog owners should apply with previous experience managing dogs like this, also should have space to run.
