Story
Burrata is a 6.5 year old American Huskie whom we adopted from her previous owner because his work schedule became more demanding. She is a very smart dog, who loves people, and she can be friendly to other dogs. She enjoys her walks, and can be quite chill through most of the day. Through no fault of her own,she has become a bit more than we can handle. We're both 75 and facing some health issues which makes it difficult for us to give her the attention she deserves. She would be a wonderful companion to any family.

Story
Poor Aspen has grown up with us in rescue from a puppy, as big dog adoptions are down. He is such a sweet dog that just wants to run and get attention. His brother and sister have been adopted. Aspen's mum was brought into a rural shelter in TX very pregnant. She was hanging around some apartment complex, found a couch to lay on. The very next day after arriving at the shelter she had 3 puppies. Flora is the mum and she is a Siberian Husky who is the same colour as Aspen. The shelter she was at was full and there was a big plea to save her and her babies lives to which we answered. All the puppies are very sweet. Aspen is now ready for his home after being fixed, had all shots for his age and micro chipped. His breed is high energy so no apartments. A fenced in yard and buddy would be wonderful. If you are interested in this handsome fellow please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com so we can send you an application. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $450 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee ($250) is not refundable if things do not work out.

Meet Teddy – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Dog Looking for His Person   Charlotte, NC | 6-Year-Old Orange Husky | &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 80 lbs of Loyalty & Love   Adopting Teddy isn’t just rescuing a dog—it’s gaining a one-of-a-kind best friend with a story, a soul, and so much love to give.   Teddy came from a tough past—rescued from a kill shelter, injured and neglected—but you’d never know it today. With medical care, a warm bed, and the love of his foster family, Teddy has blossomed into a strong, affectionate, and deeply loyal boy who’s ready to give his whole heart to the right person.   This stunning orange Husky is truly in his prime—healthy, happy, and thriving. He’s house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and lives for long walks (5+ miles a day? No problem!). He’s also a total goofball during playtime and ends each day curled up like a perfect donut on his bed, peaceful and content.   But what really makes Teddy special isn’t just his beauty or brains—it’s his soulful connection to his people. He doesn’t just want to live in your home—he wants to live in your heart. He’s food motivated, smart (knows sit, shake, off, and load), and endlessly devoted to those he trusts.   Teddy’s Dream Home:   A human or family who understands loyalty goes both ways A secure, fenced yard (he’s got Husky hops!) ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Active folks who love the outdoors and will give him the enrichment he thrives on A home without other pets—Teddy wants to be your one and only &#239&#184&#143 A patient heart, willing to let him warm up at his own pace   Teddy doesn’t 'talk' like some Huskies, but he speaks volumes with his body language and eyes. He’s gentle, protective, and loving—with a heart that’s ready to trust again.     The Opportunity of a Lifetime   Teddy has already proven how resilient and full of love he is. Now, he just needs someone to believe in him again. And in return? You get a loyal companion, an adventure buddy, a warm presence at your side—a dog who will change your life as much as you change his.   Reach out today to learn more or meet Teddy—he’s ready to find the home and heart he’s been waiting for.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 11, 2025, 10:23 pm
