Story
Blue is an 8 year old Siberian Husky and American Pit mix. He’s loving and full of energy. Blue has grown up indoors his whole life around children. He’s very good with kids and other dogs. I acquired Blue back in 2017 from a Humane Society in Savannah, GA. I am looking to re-home him free of charge simply because he needs space that I don’t have. My full time job and military reserve schedule keeps me away from home so much to the point that he often spends most of the day in his crate. He deserves a loving owner whom has time and space to allow him to be free. Blue rarely barks, he’s fairly quiet and prefers to cuddle and take long walks. He’s great in car rides even long road trips. Overall, Blue will be a great friend and family member. I’d prefer someone with a house and backyard to take him so that he can run around. He’s also housebroken. He needs more off leash training but he’s great on the leash.

Story
Mojo is 21 months old, energetic, affectionate and loves to interact with other dogs and humans. Loves the outdoors, great for family with large yard or farm. Loves to play with children very cuddly. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to keep Mojo and Nikki because we don’t have enough time at home to ensure he and Nikki are walked and fed properly thoroughout the day. It’s unfair to the dogs and they deserve a loving home with an owner who has the time to manage their needs. It would be ideal if someone could take both Mojo and Nikki together, as they’re best friends and love each other dearly.

Story
Hi there!!  I'm Lobo!!  That's right, because I look like a timber wolf.  But I'm as sweet as can be.  Not only am i handsome, but im also great!  My foster mom said I listen so good...I come immediately once called. I was saved in the knick of time from a rural Georgia shelter, where i had zip ties around my neck and collar. Everyone thought I was an old man because of how bad i looked, but I’m not at all ! The vet thinks I’m 3-4 years old. My coat was in pretty bad shape, and I was super thin, but that is all changing now. I do like to “husky talk,” but when I feel safe I’m a lover. I was friendly barking at the neighbor dogs, once but when my foster mom called me, I stopped and came running in. I kennel up nicely, and patiently waiting for your return.  I'd love to have a playmate to run and play with.  If you have a nice doggie, I'd love to meet them.   I'm learning how to walk on a leash....I just think every car and house we pass, I need to go in.  I'll get it....I promise .  Anyways, come meet me and let me show you how great I can be!!! They say you can email adrienne@rescuemega.org if you wanna know more about me or just go ahead and fill out an adoption application at www.rmgdogs.org. oh, and “I love Croissants !!!!” just thought you’d like to know ! ##2372415##

Story
Iris is a striking male husky mix with captivating blue eyes and unique heterochromia—one of his eyes even boasts two colors! He is three years old and 67 pounds. His rescue story began one cold winter night when his foster mom was driving. She saw a dog looking homeless and hungry and eating scraps of trash out of a parking lot. It was heartbreaking. She knew right then and there she had to help this poor dog so she rushed home and gathered up fleece blankets and dog food and hoped he would still be there when she went back. He was. He was cautious, but he watched from afar as she placed the blankets and food down for him. She drove away and later came back to find him nestled up in a ball on the fleece blankets. He was so timid and scared, but after hours she earned his trust and took him home. He was immediately grateful and sweet. Now it’s time for this sweet boy to find a forever home. Iris is gentle, low energy, loves squeaky toys, and is crate and potty trained.  He enjoys being pet and has become a bit of a couch potato. Iris would do best with a family that is patient and understanding and see how much he has blossomed. When he becomes scared, he looks for reassurance. He is very submissive and takes well to any verbal correction. No cats for Iris, he’s not a fan but he is dog friendly and shares his home with other dogs. Iris would love to be home snuggled next to you.  Age: 3 years   Weight: 68 lb   Temperament: good with dogs, not yet tested with young kids    Training: House trained, crate trained .    Vetting: neutred, up to date on vaccines, HW negative     For questions, please email:   sonali@doggieharmony.org   To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.  March 31, 2025, 8:06 am

Story
Koda is 2 years old. I am pregnant and am not sure how Koda is with kids. He has seen kids while in his cage and he growled towards the child. This is the reasoning for the rehome. He is very playful and loves treats. He is house trained. He has not been around other dogs for long periods of time. He has encountered other dogs during walks and tends to ignore them even if they are barking.

Story
Hi there! I’m Athena, a lovable, goofy girl who’s ready for some fun adventures! I recently went on a walk with a super nice volunteer, and let me tell you, it was an amazing time. At first, I was a little energetic, but I settled down quickly and was eager to explore the world around me. My potty habits? Always outside, of course! Gotta keep it clean and proper. We decided to skip the car and take a nice walk through the streets of Atlanta instead. We headed down Marietta Rd, which turned out to be a lot noisier than I thought it would be. But that didn’t phase me one bit—I was curious, sniffing around, and totally soaking it all in. My leash manners were on point, and I was walking ahead of my volunteer with just a bit of pressure on the leash. And guess what? By the end of the walk, I was walking right at heel! Pretty impressive for an 80-pound girl like me, don’t you think?Along the way, I met some new people, and I couldn’t help but get all wiggly and excited. I love meeting new friends! I’ll wag my tail, approach them softly, and hope for some pets. Who doesn’t love a good scratch behind the ears, right? I seem friendly round other dogs, and love to see what they are up to! If you have a pup, bring them over so we can meet! As for cats, I have not met one but would maybe do well with a confident kitty. I am so smart and ready to learn I just want someone to give me a chance.I’ve got medium energy—enough to enjoy a nice walk or even a run if that’s what you’re into. I love to get outside and stretch my legs. I also have a thing for squirrels and birds—so if you’re ever out with me, you’ll want to keep an eye on me because I can be pretty quick if I spot one!I’m also a total toy lover. Give me a toy, and I’m in heaven, ready to play for hours! I might not always realize how big I am, though—I’ll try to curl up in your lap like a tiny dog. But I promise I’m worth the space! I love attention and crave it, I`m a big but a gentle lover girl. I know my basic manners and I’m eager to learn more. If you`re looking for a loving, joyful, and playful companion, I’d love to be your new best friend!
