Its finally time for me to enjoy the good life!<br/><br/>My early life wasnt the best, and Ive been through a rough time. I was rescued and then had to go through a bit of surgery to fix some things, but the kind folks here did a great job patching me up! Now that Im feeling better, my spirits are up and Im ready to become your new best friend.<br/><br/>While Im a bit on the older side, I still got some pep to my step. I love going outside for walks, exploring a yard -- maybe with a gentle gallop -- and chasing after a ball or two (Im still working on bringing it back to you, though). <br/><br/>Im also a friendly guy. I love meeting new people. My big size and fluffy fur really make people want to give me pets and scratches, and I just cant get enough! I may even plop down and roll over for you!<br/><br/>I do know a few commands, like Sit and Paw, and Im always happy to accept some treats. We brought Blu home when he was just 10 weeks old, and he has been such a loving part of our family ever since. He is now a year and a half old and has grown into a playful, affectionate, and energetic dog who absolutely loves being around people, especially children. Blu does very well with our kids and gets along great with other pets too. Making the decision to rehome him has been incredibly hard for us. With demanding work schedules, busy sports activities for our children, and frequent travel, we unfortunately can’t give Blu the time, attention, and active lifestyle he truly deserves. We want him to have a family that can fully enjoy him and give him the love, consistency, and engagement that Huskies thrive on. Check out handsome Rory (Red Boy) - up for adoption from Chaps Chow Rescue Atlanta! He was recently found abandoned by the Atlanta airport by a good Samaritan before being rescued by Chaps! He’s 50lbs, up-to-date on his shots, healthy, housebroken, and estimated to be between 1.5-2 years old. He has a really good temperament (a little aloof but playful once he warms up to you), great with other dogs, and isn't a barker! He has a prey drive, so would probably do best in a home with no cats. He is scheduled to be neutered on June 1, and then he will be ready to go to his furever home! He’s located in Atlanta.
