Story
Cheddar Bay Biscuit is a dollop of cuteness! This adorable boy mixes sweet cuddles with bursts of puppy energy. Going on four months old, this little "Biscuit" is a loving and active pup! He is busy learning all about doggie life from his canine foster siblings, and he is eager to play with the family cat.
Biscuit loves to pounce on his stuffed animals, eat like it's going out of style, follow his foster humans, curl up on laps when he is tired, then get the wiggles and do it all over again. This little darling is growing fast and meeting so many puppy milestones! He had his first zoomies around the yard, enjoyed two different pup cups, is learning to walk on a leash, and will sit in exchange for treats. He explores and romps with the toys in his pen, tires himself out, and then becomes the ultimate little cuddle bug!
As a puppy, Cheddar Bay Biscuit’s house training is a work in progress. Biscuit has used his piddle pads many times, and will also go outside to relieve himself. Notably, Cheddar Bay Biscuit is a very smart little guy. He knows where the back door is, and he often asks to go out to do his business. Continued training, structure, and guidance will help to build consistency with his house training. Biscuit will also benefit from chew toys to help with his teething.
Biscuit is healing from juvenile cellulitis, also known as puppy strangles. It is an autoimmune condition that caused sores on his face and belly. He has gotten so much better! Now you can see the cute freckles on his nose!
Biscuit is considered a husky mix. He might be part shepherd or have some other heritage. One thing is for sure--whatever his background, Biscuit is a bundle of love!
In short, Cheddar Bay Biscuit is blossoming into a playful and loving family companion. Ideally he would like an active canine silbing to play with. Please contact Border Tails Rescue if you can give Biscuit a forever home full of the love, care, patience, consistency, and kindness he deserves!
