I got Milo from a friend who had asked me to watch him while she was away at college and that she was going to take him back whenever she came back home. However she’s been home for 4-5 months and when she returned I asked her when I could bring him to her but she said she couldn’t take him. I don’t have a job anymore so I’m unable to properly take care of him. Milo is a year and five months, I don’t know his exact birthday but I do know he was born in the middle of July. The things I’m hoping for in a new home for him is a decent yard so he can run free, someone with patience and dedication to training him, and just an overall better home then what he’s had in the past along with the things I couldn’t provide for him. To describe Milo is a little complicated, he’s stubborn, lacks patience, fully of energy but kind of lazy too, he’s not potty trained, and he pulls while being walked, he devours food and gains weight quickly, he loves water and does okay in baths.

Pooh Bear was surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer have him. He did live with another dog in the home and did well with them. Pooh Bear does not like cats so a home without cats would be best for him. He did live with an older child and did well with them. He is 5 years old and weighs 58 pounds. Pooh Bear is still very playful and loves to go to the play yard to run! He will need someone that is able to keep him groomed as he does have a double coat that will require regular maintenance to prevent matting. He loves attention! Pooh Bear has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/lyme tested (negative) and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter. Blitz arrived at the shelter with his sister Raven as strays. He is around 2 years old and weighs in at 60 pounds. Blitz is a fun loving guy that loves to run and play! Potential adopters should have knowledge of the husky breed. Blitz is a lovable, reserved guy that enjoys going to the play yard to run! He does show interest in chasing cats so a home without cats may be best. Blitz would love to find his loving forever home soon! He did test positive for a tick borne disease called Ehrlicia but is currently undergoing treatment for it and doing well. Blitz has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter. Hermes was adopted out several months ago and recently returned when his owners could no longer care for him. He is a little over a year old and has a lot of puppy energy still. He is a sweet guy that will need someone that can work with him on training and is able to provide him with regular exercise! He has lived with cats and according to his previous home did well with them as long as they did not bother him when he was eating. Hermes does not seem to mind the company of other dogs as long as they too do not bother him while he is eating, he has not shown any possession around food with his humans. Hermes loves to go to the play yard and run so a home with a fenced yard, while not required, may be ideal for this happy guy! Hermes is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.
